EASTERN RACER disappointed in a valuable handicap at the Curragh last time out but his previous form suggests that he will be extremely hard to beat in a race of this nature. MATER MATUTA has not been disgraced in any of her starts so far this season and this moderate contest appears to be an ideal opportunity for the daughter of Dawn Approach to get off the mark. Dundory outran odds of 66/1 to finish third at Tipperary last time out and he should be in the mix once again, while Scorched Earth is the pick of the remainder.

In a competitive contest the marginal preference is for TURNBERRY ISLE, after he bounced back to form to account for a decent field at Killarney last week. Thrifty One remains unexposed and he would not have to improve that much to win a race of this nature, although this is his first start on turf. The shortlist is completed by Charcor, Quizical and Zander.
Prediction : 1st Turnberry Isle 2nd Thrifty One 3rd Charcor

INDIAN EYE outran 25-1 odds to finish third at Fairyhouse last month and looks capable of even greater things on just her third start for Jarlath Fahey. The 45-rated four-year-old did especially well last time considered that she was 5lb out of the handicap and won't mind a test of stamina here. Swelltime shed his maiden tag at Fairyhouse just over five weeks ago and looks a live threat, while consistent course winner Military Hill is expected to make his presence felt.
Prediction : 1st Indian Eye 2nd Swelltime 3rd Military Hill

GREENPANDA was just touched off when second here four weeks ago, but showed a nice attitude there and looks poised to go one better. The five-year-old often goes well at this venue, and an aggressive ride can see her go close under crack 5lb claimer Ben Coen. Khudha wasn't at his best over hurdles last time but previously appeared progressive on the Flat, while Camlann is on a tempting mark and could go well before a tilt at Galway next week.
Prediction : 1st Greenpanda 2nd Khudha 3rd Camlann

SMART LIVING showed promise again at Down Royal when third in May behind a couple of talented types, and looks poised to strike now trying this longer distance for the first time. The four-year-old handles varying ground conditions and is preferred to World Premier, who won a bumper when trained in the UK by Ben Pauling and should have come on plenty for his Irish/stable debut a fortnight ago. Convara can prove best of the remainder.
Prediction : 1st Smart Living 2nd World Premier 3rd Convara
