Sharrabang improved for the rise to 7f when springing a Carlisle surprise but he was almost caught and the extra furlong could find him out. JUNIORS FANTASY, on the other hand, probably stays further than this and would be the most deserving winner after three second places and an unlucky-in-running fourth on his last four outings. Diviner didn't perform up to market expectations at Hamilton, and Molly Mai also let down favourite-backers on her latest appearance, although neither can be written off.
Prediction : 1st Juniors Fantasy 2nd Sharrabang 3rd Diviner

NORTHERN HOPE went agonisingly close to make a successful introduction at Beverley before performing below that level at Newcastle. That can be put down to the artificial surface, though, and his debut performance entitles him to another chance. Breck's Selection couldn't confirm his initial promise on his second outing either, but is a threat if taking to turf. Time Force and Typsy Toad aren't out of it in a race that looks ordinary, which means that the newcomer Magna Moralia has to be taken into account as well.
Prediction : 1st Northern Hope 2nd Brecks Selection 3rd Time Force

How Bizarre only narrowly came out of a four-runner Beverley affair on top so his penalty might find him out, whereas GABRIAL THE TIGER scored with something up his sleeve at Chester a few days earlier and is fancied to repeat his victory in this event last year. Donnelly's Rainbow is the third last-start scorer in the line-up, having registered a deserved triumph at Ayr. Mujassam, Northernpowerhouse and Spirit Of Lund all bring consistency to the table and add further spice to a really competitive heat.
Prediction : 1st Gabrial The Tiger 2nd Donnellys Rainbow 3rd Mujassam

BILL NEIGH has tasted success on half of his four career starts, both at this track, with his defeats coming in Listed company at Royal Ascot and Sandown. A mark of 85 would appear fair enough and he can concede weight all round. Exclusively also came up short at the Royal meeting and her subsequent Nottingham defeat looks better than it did at the time, with the winner running well enough in Saturday's Super Sprint. Tom Tulliver has also shown enough to warrant a high position on the shortlist, with Dazzling Des also interesting because he was only just behind selection in the Dragon Stakes.
Prediction : 1st Bill Neigh 2nd Exclusively 3rd Dazzling Des

Classic Pursuit and Computable both took steps forward to claim third spot last week at Hamilton and Catterick respectively, while Jeffrey Harris and Amazing Alba also occupied that position on their latest appearances. Picks Pinta arrives in good form, but PIAZON backed up a fine Thirsk performance to just go under narrowly at Redcar. Julia Brooke's sprinter remains well treated compared to his all-weather figure and is fancied to capitalise.
Prediction : 1st Piazon 2nd Classic Pursuit 3rd Computable

PERCY PROSECCO possibly doesn't quite stay 2m on the level, and his latest Doncaster defeat can be attributed to that. He was a determined winner over just short of a mile and a half at Yarmouth prior to his Town Moor loss, though, and can recapture that kind of sparkle. True Romance is a danger if transferring his good hurdling form to this sphere, with Iolani also reverting from jumping. Sosian has strung together a nice sequence of runs and is a major candidate as well.
Prediction : 1st Percy Prosecco 2nd True Romance 3rd Sosian

Alisia R failed to beat a single rival home on her first four starts, so to say her handicap debut success over C&D came out of the blue would be an understatement. There certainly didn't seem to be any fluke about it but she does need to back it up and a safer option would appear to be WAR ENSIGN, who is turned out quickly following Saturday's pleasing Ripon third. Your Pal Tal isn't getting any younger but usually goes well when he crosses the Irish Sea.
Prediction : 1st War Ensign 2nd Alisia R 3rd Your Pal Tal
