The former represents a stable that have dominated in the juvenile department this season and title-chasing jockey Danny Tudhope is an interesting booking, while Roger Varian can certainly ready a debutant as well.

ARCTIC OCEAN has impressively notched a Beverley/C&D double and although a further 9lb hike in the ratings will obviously make life a lot tougher, she might be able to complete the hat-trick for Sir Michael Stoute and Jimmy Quinn. Bollin Joan was a winner over 1m2f here late last month and is currently 2lb well in. She rates the biggest threat ahead of Katiesheidinlisa, who beat the reopposing Voi over track and trip in May but has disappointed in two starts subsequently.

INHALE may have needed his seasonal return at Newmarket last month but the daughter of Bated Breath can be given another chance on her handicap debut, off what appears to be a workable handicap mark. Caustic Love disappointed last time out but is another who could bounce back today, while Rux Ruxx and Material Girl are the pick of the remainder.

Lady Scatterley has hit the crossbar in her last two starts and she should go well once again today, although she is vulnerable to some less exposed types. ELENA has displayed promise in all three starts in maiden company and she could be underestimated off an opening mark of 68. Waterfront has a similar profile to the selection and she completes the shortlist, along with Lucky Number.

MARK'S CHOICE (fourth) finished just behind Coolagh Magic (third) here on his penultimate start and held his form well when third at Haydock six days ago on ground that was probably softer than ideal. The return to a quicker surface promises to suit and a mark of 82 is one that he can strike off. Golden Parade carries a 6lb penalty for scoring on the all-weather last week and is worth noting now turned out quickly again.

SIGLO SIX handled fast ground well when just touched off at Thirsk three weeks ago and could make it fourth time lucky for Hugo Palmer.
