Gold Hunter was an easy winner when scoring by five lengths on his most recent course appearance over 7f a fortnight ago but the extra furlong, combined with an 8lb rise from the handicapper, might just be enough to find him out. Amor Fati didn't get the clearest of runs when second over C&D last Thursday and has to enter the reckoning, but the vote goes to GLORIOUS JEM. David Lanigan's gelding sports cheekpieces for the first time and is likely to be suited by the drop in distance having not appeared to get home over 1m2f on handicap debut at Leicester.
Prediction : 1st Glorious Jem 2nd Amor Fati 3rd Gold Hunter

COASE boasts the strongest level of form in the contest, having been thrown in at the deep end in the Coventry at Royal Ascot, and Hugo Palmer's colt can get back to winning ways despite giving weight to all of his rivals. Bermuda Schwartz is entitled to go close on his second at Epsom last week along with Cosmic Power, a half-brother to Listed-placed Cosmic Law, and Lin Chong.
Prediction : 1st Coase 2nd Bermuda Schwartz 3rd Cosmic Power

BROADHAVEN DREAM appeared to benefit from a sounder surface when getting off the mark over C&D last month and, on that performance, he could handle a 7lb rise from the handicapper. Show Me The Bubbly is respected on her second at Catterick last time and is capable of taking a step forward with cheekpieces applied. Others to consider include Union Rose and Silverrica.
Prediction : 1st Broadhaven Dream 2nd Show Me The Bubbly 3rd Union Rose

Handicap debutant LAPIDARY has a lovely, progressive profile and is fancied to supplement her determined 6f novice stakes victory at Lingfield. Not a lot went right for Dream World at Nottingham last time but she still managed to finish a close fourth. Back up a furlong and competing off the same mark, she can show up well, while Material Girl is no forlorn hope.
Prediction : 1st Lapidary 2nd Dream World 3rd Material Girl

GLAMOROUS CRESCENT has yet to finish out of the frame in five starts so far this year, including when landing a similar C&D event last month, and she is fancied to see off the likes of Aquarius and Seafaring Girl. Mick Appleby's charge is beginning to look dangerously handicapped while the latter, who wasn't beaten far at Thirsk latest, may improve for cheekpieces.
Prediction : 1st Glamorous Crescent 2nd Aquarius 3rd Seafaring Girl

ROAD TO PARIS showed up nicely for a long way when third at Nottingham 10 days ago and Sir Mark Prescott's charge can take another step in the right direction. This slight drop in distance is fancied to suit and the three-year-old remains on a nice mark. Frantical was second of 14 at Bath last month and should have come on plenty for that seasonal reappearance, while Kaylen's Mischief adds further depth to a competitive contest.
Prediction : 1st Road To Paris 2nd Frantical 3rd Kaylens Mischief

SO NEAR SO FARHH takes a big drop in class and could claim a second success from her last three starts. A winner over this C&D 24 days ago, the four-year-old can be forgiven a modest effort at Chester a fortnight ago and is clearly better suited by this more undulating track. Danglydontask shaped with greater promise on reappearance/stable debut for Mike Murphy earlier this month when third at Lingfield, while Royal Hall was second in that same event and is also noted.
Prediction : 1st So Near So Farhh 2nd Danglydontask 3rd Royal Hall
