Everkyllachy can't be completely overlooked, but Marietta Robusti may struggle to make a telling impact.

Archie Watson is another who is respected in this sphere and his newcomer Sunshine Fantasy is worthy of consideration having fetched 42,000gns, and she is a half-sister to the classy Flaming Spear.

HONEST ALBERT made it two from two when returning with a comfortable success at Nottingham at the end of last month and, on his handicap debut, boasts an unexposed profile for leading connections. Breanski was awarded the race at Ascot a fortnight ago, having been badly hampered when making his challenge, and is respected off 4lb higher. Others to consider include Barristan The Bold, Gentle Look and Defence Treaty.

MY MO shaped as though he would come on from his first outing since August 2017 when third over an extended 1m4f here behind Steel Helmet, and he can take the step forward required back up in distance. Steel Helmet won't be so unconsidered in the market on this occasion, having been very consistent of late, while Foxrush Take Time could improve for the step up in trip after a couple of decent middle-distance efforts.

Gas Monkey is 16lb higher than before his recent winning spree began, but Shelley Birkett gets on well with him and there could be even more to come. Autretot will appreciate getting back on the Tapeta, while the surface doesn't seem to matter to Furzig.

DEREVO showed plenty of ability in novice company but came into his own on his handicap bow, making light of his initial figure with a Pontefract stroll. His pedigree doesn't necessarily suggest that he wants to rise from 1m2f, but he was so impressive and could even graduate beyond this level before the season is out. Lexington Empire is still progressing and went really close at Chelmsford. Claire Underwood's course record entitles her to a mention, and Final also has a C&D victory to his name.

Billy Wedge has gradually got better with each run at Thirsk this year, and he found only one too strong on his most recent outing there. His sole previous Newcastle effort resulted in a moderate display, though, whereas MIDNIGHT VIXEN's only career victory to date came over 7f here, and she seems more effective over this trip now. Seek The Moon hasn't been too far away on turf of late and acts on this surface too, although the cut back from 1m4f has to be a concern.
