Al Sakb improved considerably when fitted with cheekpieces to score at Ballinrobe last Tuesday and the change of headgear to blinkers is unlikely to prove an inconvenience, while Cats For Cash, Monkeylou and Morning Skye complete the shortlist.

SHEKHEM shaped encouragingly on his racecourse bow at the Curragh nine days ago, when running on nicely in the closing stages, and he is likely to prove more streetwise in a contest his handler has won six times since 2009. Innisfree finished second on his debut at Naas earlier in the month and can take a step forward on this occasion, while A Mere Bagatelle is of interest coming from the family of top-class broodmare Hasili.

FANCY FOOTINGS appeared to win a shade cosily over 1m at Limerick earlier in the month and is expected to remain competitive over this shorter trip off this 7lb higher perch. Johnny Murtagh representative Cruella Dovil is knocking hard on the door and wouldn't be winning out of turn, while there could be a big run on the cards from Calling Time, a versatile performer who struck over this trip at Roscommon before following up over 1m at Killarney 13 days ago.

MR ADJUDICATOR was a Grade 2 winner over hurdles in June and could be thrown in on the Flat off a mark of 81 this afternoon. Willie Mullins' charge did have a recent spin over 1m4f at Bellewstown earlier in the month and came up short, but the trip was on the sharp side that day and he'll likely be seen to better effect now stepped back up in distance. Shakespear'sgalley (first) and Legal Spin (second) are closely matched on their Curragh spin last month and are also expected to be thereabouts at the finish.

IDEAL PAL arrives here in fine form having beaten all comers of late, racking up a quick-fire hat-trick, and despite having a career-high mark to defy now, he is hard to oppose. Monty's Miracle was a handy winner over further last time and is respected on his handicap debut, while Halimi was another to get off the mark earlier this month when battling to victory at the Curragh. Millswyn rates as the best of Joseph O'Brien's pair and is tried in first-time blinkers.

Willie Mullins won this in 2013 with Wicklow Brave and having also landed the spoils in 2017, looks to have another leading chance with THINK POSITIVE, who was much improved following a 404-day break when a silver medalist at Kilbeggan earlier this month. Emmet Mullins won this last season and it will be interesting if a tongue-tie combined with a drop in trip improves his Russian Diamond, who shaped nicely enough on debut over the Christmas period before fading quickly in the latter stages. Risk Factor is another tried in a tongue-tie for the first time and he looked a useful prospect when beaten less than a length on his first outing.
