PUDS has a very good record at this track and she only found one too good over C&D last time out. That form was boosted when the winner was narrowly beaten in a Listed race on her next start, which suggests that the daughter of Bated Breath could still be well handicapped. Last year's winner Tommy G has to be respected off a 3lb lower mark and he was successful at Ayr earlier in the season. Others to consider are Boy In The Bar, Dark Shot and Duke Of Firenze.
Prediction : 1st Puds 2nd Tommy G 3rd Duke Of Firenze

Mark Johnston has won two of the last four renewals of this and his C&D winner KING'S ADVICE arrives in fine form having won seven of his eight outings this term and can confirm the form of his recent Newmarket victory over Desert Skyline (third) and Outbox (sixth). Stablemate Charles Kingsley has also tasted success at HQ recently and has the assistance of Frankie Dettori, with Corgi and Proschema considered too.
Prediction : 1st Kings Advice 2nd Charles Kingsley 3rd Desert Skyline

DRAMATIC QUEEN (second) found Enbihaar too good at Haydock four weeks ago, but she previously accounted for her at York over this trip and could claim her revenge. The selection is 3lb better off at the weights this time and that is fancied to prove the difference between the pair. Manuela De Vega wasn't disgraced in the Irish Oaks a fortnight ago but wouldn't want the ground to be too firm, while South Sea Pearl is also noted.
Prediction : 1st Dramatic Queen 2nd Enbihaar 3rd Manuela De Vega

Charlie Hills won this contest with a progressive three-year-old in Magical Memory in 2015 and he bids to repeat the feat with KHAADEM. He follows a different route having tackled Pattern company on his last couple of starts and, on his handicap bow, makes plenty of appeal. Lake Volta is likely to give him a decent tow into the race on the far side, while Flavius Titus, Air Raid, Summerghand and Justanotherbottle are others who boast leading credentials.
Prediction : 1st Khaadem 2nd Flavius Titus 3rd Air Raid

KING OF ATHENS was not disgraced in the Coventry at Royal Ascot last time and he had only found the winner of that race, Arizona, too good in a maiden at the Curragh on his debut. A reproduction of either of those performances would give the son of War Front a big chance. Great Ambassador has hit the crossbar in both previous starts and he should be in the mix, while Berkshire Rocco caught the eye on his debut and is another to note.
Prediction : 1st King Of Athens 2nd Great Ambassador 3rd Berkshire Rocco

A hugely competitive handicap with plenty of unexposed individuals. LAND OF LEGENDS won in good style on his handicap bow against older horses at Newmarket in June and a 5lb rise appears very fair for Saeed bin Suroor's colt. Marhaba Milliar represents a team who can do very little wrong at present and arrives following a victory at Yarmouth, while Bayroot, Blown By Wind and Hero Hero are others worthy of consideration.
Prediction : 1st Land Of Legends 2nd Marhaba Milliar 3rd Bayroot

GIFTS OF GOLD returned with a good performance to win at Salisbury in June and remains open to plenty of improvement on his handicap debut. He looks to have a good draw and is partnered by a top apprentice in Cieren Fallon. Ventura Knight warrants respect dropping in grade after placing here earlier in the week, while others to consider include Wind In My Sails, a winner at Bath when last seen, and Poet's Prince.
Prediction : 1st Gifts Of Gold 2nd Ventura Knight 3rd Wind In My Sails
