Pass Hymn was on the scoresheet at Bellewstown last time and could give the selection plenty to think about off a 7lb higher mark, while Killarney second Mr Picotee is another capable of throwing his hat into the ring.

Willie Mullins has won two of the last three renewals of this and has a leading chance once again with PRAVALAGUNA, who is a useful operator, but never quite got the hang of chasing last season and should be much happier now switching to hurdles. She could be the class act in this field and get the better of Gordon Elliott's pair Count Simon and Everybreathyoutake, who have been running with real credit of late.

SKY MARSHAL has been running well in similar contests of late, making the podium on his last two outings, and Charles Byrnes' five-year-old has plenty of experience to his name which could be vital this time. Pike County was last seen finishing an honourable third to the handy Battleoverdoyen in December and is interesting on reappearance going up in trip. Exit Eleven was third here last month and drops back in trip now, while Clonguile Way could make an impact at this level.

Cailean's Angel edges out Belle West to be best of the rest.

The shortlist is completed by Luis Van Zandt and Scotch Quay.

DRUIM SAMHRAIDH displayed plenty of promise when finishing fourth on his debut here last month and he could be hard to beat with that experience now under his belt. Georgina Burgess is another whose previous form suggests that she could make the frame in a race of this nature. Others to consider are Barnet Brook, My First Symphony and Rian Thomas.
