Omnivega displayed plenty of promise in a maiden that has worked out very well on his debut and he was out of his depth in a Group 3 behind Persian King on his next start. Back down in grade today, David Simcock's colt should not be underestimated.

CRYSTAL TIARA thrived in the Leicester sludge to land a seller last time, and with a bit of cut still in the turf and further rain forecast, Mick Channon's filly could be the one to side with under a 6lb penalty. Uncertain Smile enjoyed the step up in trip on her handicap debut, finishing second at Bath, and is now tried in a hood, while Tattenhams was only denied by a neck at Lingfield and could enjoy the extra furlong off a 3lb higher rating.

SPANISH ARIA went close when stepping up to this distance at Windsor last month and John Gosden's Lope De Vega filly has the chance to better that effort off the same mark. Geetanjali is just 1lb higher than when winning over this trip at Leicester earlier this summer, while Lady Scatterley has finished second on her last three outings since tried over this yardage and looks set to be thereabouts once again.
