PERFECT CHARM has improved for the application of blinkers on both her handicap starts at Ffos Las and, despite a 12lb penalty for those successes, it would be no surprise to see Archie Watson's filly make it three on the bounce. Broughton Excels ended season in good form and the return to 5f is in his favour, while Bronze Beau has shown recently that he is still capable of being competitive at this level.
Prediction : 1st Perfect Charm 2nd Broughton Excels 3rd Bronze Beau

Charlie Appleby has enjoyed a fine season with his juveniles and saddles an interesting newcomer in the shape of SUN CUISINE. A $1,300,000 purchase at the Keeneland yearling sale last September, he is out of a Grade 2-winning mare on turf in the US and makes plenty of appeal on his racecourse bow. With Promise, a 100,000gns purchase at Tattersalls Book 1, and Zafeer, a homebred colt related to Group performers in Australia, appear best of the remainder.
Prediction : 1st Sun Cuisine 2nd With Promise 3rd Zafeer

MAURICIO's latest run on the Flat came in June 2017 when he got off the mark in a Roscommon maiden for Willie McCreery, before joining Dr Richard Newland. He returns to the level off what could be a very fair mark and warrants plenty of respect. A set of cheekpieces could see Le Maharajah bounce back to form after a disappointing performance at Windsor in June, while Konigin and Visor are others to consider.
Prediction : 1st Mauricio 2nd Le Maharajah 3rd Konigin

David Simcock has reached for top jockeys aboard his hard to separate pair of recent winners, with James Doyle partnering the Newbury scorer Highland Sky, while Jamie Spencer keeps the ride on Starczewski having scored here together over an extended 1m3f. Trailboss was a winner at Doncaster in June and is respected, but preference is for ROAD TO PARIS, who has made the podium the last twice and there is likely more to come from Sir Mark Prescott's three-year-old.
Prediction : 1st Road To Paris 2nd Highland Sky 3rd Starczewski

INVINCIBLE LARNE has run well here the last twice and Mick Quinn's charge looks to build on his recent C&D third off a 2lb lower rating. The consistent Mr Buttons finished ahead of the selection here in June and is another who likes this track, while Phoenix Star has three lengths to find with Invincible Larne from when they met here last time, but that was a much more encouraging run from the track-and-trip winner.
Prediction : 1st Invincible Larne 2nd Mr Buttons 3rd Phoenix Star

Coastline has to be respected following her C&D victory last month but preference is for SCENTASIA, who made an encouraging debut for John Gosden at Salisbury in June. The daughter of Cape Cross finished second on that occasion and the form was boosted when the winner struck again off a mark of 90 at Goodwood on Saturday. Dupioni and Romola aren't out of this either.
Prediction : 1st Scentasia 2nd Coastline 3rd Dupioni

DUBAI ELEGANCE won well at Doncaster on Saturday and a 5lb penalty is unlikely to stop her from taking this contest as well, as long as she has fully recovered from those exertions. Sonnet Rose has a good course record and that includes her victory over track and trip two starts ago. Others to consider are Backstreet Girl, Caen Na Coille and Roman Spinner.
Prediction : 1st Dubai Elegance 2nd Sonnet Rose 3rd Caen Na Coille
