KWANZA got off the mark at Pontefract last month and a 7lb rise in the ratings for that success may not be enough to stop her from taking this contest as well. Ishebayorgrey has not won in quite a while now but he is more than capable of making the frame in a race of this nature. Others to consider are Ascot Week and Allux Boy.
Prediction : 1st Kwanza 2nd Ishebayorgrey 3rd Ascot Week

MAKYON appreciated the drop in grade when winning easily at Ayr 11 days ago and the son of Make Believe could outclass his rivals in this contest. Bill Neigh already has plenty of experience under his belt and shouldn't be far away at the finish. Pop Dancer has to be respected following his recent Pontefract win, while Proper Beau cannot be discounted following one poor run in Listed company.
Prediction : 1st Makyon 2nd Bill Neigh 3rd Proper Beau

ORION'S BOW is not the most reliable of performers these days but a victory at Hamilton two starts ago suggests that the eight-year-old is more than capable of winning this contest. Red Pike's last couple of performances offer some encouragement for his chances, while Jordan Electrics won off just a 3lb lower mark in June and he is another to consider.
Prediction : 1st Orions Bow 2nd Red Pike 3rd Jordan Electrics

ULSTER's second in the Queen's Cup over this C&D in April sets the overall form standard and he can bounce back for Archie Watson after two subsequent modest performances. The four-year-old evidently likes it here and first-time blinkers might just revitalise him. Alright Sunshine is progressing through the ranks nicely, having won five of his eight starts in both codes combined, while Dragons Voice may prove best of the remainder.
Prediction : 1st Ulster 2nd Alright Sunshine 3rd Dragons Voice

GLENGARRY wasn't disgraced when fourth in a better race at Newcastle 13 days ago and could claim a first success since October 2018 now that he is back on his last winning mark. The six-year-old has a career record of 4125 in four starts at this track and appeals more than Big Storm Coming, who also drops in class but has more weight to carry. Rux Ruxx wasn't suited by a small field at Doncaster last time and she can't be ruled out here.
Prediction : 1st Glengarry 2nd Big Storm Coming 3rd Rux Ruxx

AMAZING ALBA has taken a good step forward on her last couple of outings over C&D, placing on both occasions, and the daughter of Helmet could get off the mark in what appears a very winnable contest on paper. Economic Crisis wasn't far behind the selection two starts ago and she is capable of being in the mix, having subsequently run another solid race here, while Northern Society and Burmese Blazer also hold claims.
Prediction : 1st Amazing Alba 2nd Economic Crisis 3rd Northern Society

EURO IMPLOSION went close to getting his head in front at Ripon on Tuesday, and providing the quick turnaround doesn't bother him, the three-year-old can gain his first success. Lyford could have more to offer as he returns to the Flat on his debut for Alistair Whillans, while a wind operation might aid the cause of Sleepdancer as he makes his handicap bow.
Prediction : 1st Euro Implosion 2nd Lyford 3rd Sleepdancer
