SURF DANCER displayed plenty of promise when finishing fifth on his debut at Ascot last month and that form was boosted when the fourth won at Yarmouth earlier in the week. With that experience now under his belt, the son of Lope De Vega could be very hard to beat. Can't Stop Now is another who brings solid form to the table and he could prove to be the main threat to the selection, ahead of Murraymint and Bad Rabbit.
Prediction : 1st Surf Dancer 2nd Cant Stop Now 3rd Murraymint

ZORAYA is heavily favoured at these weights and the four-year-old confirmed her well-being with a narrow defeat off a mark of 70 at Epsom earlier in the month. If she can reproduce that form then she is unlikely to be beaten in this contest. Chikoko Trail won a similar event a Lingfield three starts ago and he also makes the shortlist, along with recent C&D second Luna Princess.
Prediction : 1st Zoraya 2nd Chikoko Trail 3rd Luna Princess

MAKTABBA has improved with every start to date and her recent victory in a maiden at Lingfield suggests that the daughter of Dansili could be underestimated by an opening mark of 74. Nette Rousse failed to fire when a well-backed favourite on her handicap debut at York a couple of weeks ago but it is too soon to be writing her off. Others to consider are Appointed, Kvetuschka and Queen Constantine.
Prediction : 1st Maktabba 2nd Nette Rousse 3rd Queen Constantine

LINCOLN PARK was beaten less than a length at Chester last time and with the form of his Haydock third before that franked by the winner at Goodwood last week, Mick Appleby's charge could be the one to side with. Aplomb ran better than the bare result would suggest at Newmarket last month and has to be respected off the same rating, while Windsor silver medalist Typhoon Ten is also not ignored.
Prediction : 1st Lincoln Park 2nd Aplomb 3rd Typhoon Ten

Hamilton winner Sendeed was comfortably held on his handicap debut at Windsor last month, but could prove popular back down in trip and with cheekpieces applied here. Silkstone has picked up a silver medal here twice this season and is likely to the thereabouts once again. However, preference is for recent course-and-distance winner KERMOUSTER, who was a comfortable scorer when upped to this trip on that occasion and a 5lb rise may not be enough to stop the three-year-old's progress.
Prediction : 1st Kermouster 2nd Silkstone 3rd Sendeed

KAAFY has been rattling the crossbar of late and having only been denied by a neck at Musselburgh last week, could go one better stepping up to six furlongs off a 2lb higher mark. Amy Murphy's Great Shout looks to be finding her feet and enjoyed the drop back to this distance when second at Wolverhampton last time, while Stallone, who was fifth in that contest, wasn't disgraced at Newmarket last time and is respected.
Prediction : 1st Kaafy 2nd Great Shout 3rd Stallone

Bahuta Acha has gone close the last twice, including here on heavy ground last time, and would make loads of appeal off the same rating if the forecast rain is to fall. He is down to run at Haydock on Saturday, though, so recent Ayr second ONE BOY gets the vote, as he is another who won't mind cut in the ground. Toni's A Star made the podium at Windsor and can't be ruled out.
Prediction : 1st One Boy 2nd Bahuta Acha 3rd Tonis A Star
