KENDRED SOUL was headed on the line at Catterick after making a significant early move from a wide draw and attempting to make the running. The drop to a stiff 5f appears to be in her favour and Jedd O'Keeffe's filly could feasibly get off the mark at the fourth attempt. Second Love has placed on both outings to date and is likely to finish in the mix along with Reviette, who displayed a fair amount of promise when fourth over C&D on debut.
Prediction : 1st Kendred Soul 2nd Second Love 3rd Reviette

FLYLIKEANEAGLE ran well to finish second to an experienced rival on debut at Newcastle last month and is expected to give another good account of himself on the front end. Yoshimi was runner-up behind an odds-on shot at York on his first outing and is expected to be competitive if building on that display, while Wise Glory and Kumasi, the latter of whom is a half-brother to Lake Volta, are two newcomers to consider.
Prediction : 1st Flylikeaneagle 2nd Yoshimi 3rd Kumasi

INNER CIRCLE has been performing to a consistent level on his recent outings in handicap company and is likely to go close at this level. Son Of Beauty, who makes his debut for Shaun Harris, also merits shortlist inclusion as he is an unexposed quantity, but the main danger to the selection is Dream Walker, who boasts the same rating as Roger Fell's inmate and wasn't beaten far in a Pontefract handicap latest.
Prediction : 1st Inner Circle 2nd Dream Walker 3rd Son Of Beauty

ARCHIE PERKINS gained his third success of the year at York on his latest outing, producing a career-best performance in the process, and a 3lb rise from the handicapper appears fair for Nigel Tinkler's gelding. Invasion Day is of interest on his first start for David O'Meara after producing some consistent efforts for Ger Lyons in Ireland, while Regal Mirage makes some appeal on his Pontefract victory off 4lb lower last month.
Prediction : 1st Archie Perkins 2nd Invasion Day 3rd Regal Mirage

GO FOX landed a gamble on fast ground at Yarmouth three weeks ago and could repeat that trick if conditions remain on the lively side. A 4lb rise doesn't look too harsh for those exertions, and he has been perfectly placed in a contest full of exposed and out of form types. Briardale drops in class but is still 4lb above his last successful handicap mark, while Showboating showed glimpses of a return to form when fourth at Nottingham earlier this month.
Prediction : 1st Go Fox 2nd Briardale 3rd Showboating

Vindolanda has shown promise in six career starts for Charlie Hills and the fact that she has a bit of course experience here won't do her any harm, while Forbidden Dance shaped like a step up to this distance might suit when third at Leicester. Danny Tudhope has a good record when teaming up with Sir Michael Stoute and DUBIOUS AFFAIR might take some stopping. She wasn't disgraced behind two smart sorts at Chester last month and an opening handicap mark of 70 could be generous.
Prediction : 1st Dubious Affair 2nd Vindolanda 3rd Forbidden Dance

THREE CARD TRICK (second) surely would have gone close in a three-runner affair at Pontefract last month but for blowing the start and could make amends for Kevin Ryan. The three-year-old is dangerously treated off 75 on his best form and seemingly handles varying ground conditions. Diamonique has finished second or third on her last five starts and is noted, while Timetodock is better than what he showed at Doncaster last time.
Prediction : 1st Three Card Trick 2nd Diamonique 3rd Timetodock
