Danboru has won his last two starts and has to enter calculations despite going up 8lb for his Perth victory, while others to note include Between The Waters and Mahlers Star.

LE MUSEE was going well in front when stumbling and not recovering fully at the third last on his second chase outing at Southwell last month. A winner at Ffos Las by 17 lengths prior to that effort, when Potterman was almost 20 lengths back in third, he is taken to make amends on this occasion and confirm form with Alan King's gelding. Canton Prince completes the shortlist having won on his chase debut at Cartmel.

PATSIO returned to winning ways at Ffos Las two starts ago when benefiting from the reapplication of blinkers and followed that performance up with a second over 2m4f at the same course. The return to 2m is in his favour and he could get the better of Dariya, who could take a step forward for first-time cheekpieces, and Ormskirk, who has placed on his last couple of outings.

CARDY got off the mark at the third time of asking over timber here at the end of last month and, on her handicap debut stepping up in distance, is expected to take a further step forward on what she has achieved to date. Hot Ryan placed on her latest outing at Southwell and is entitled to be in the mix along with Lamh Ar Lamh, who has reapplied cheekpieces to aid her cause.

Kapsize is an intriguing French recruit to the Charlie Longsdon team and warrants a market check, while course bumper winner Simon The Great could bounce back to form on his stable bow for Grace Harris. Preference, though, is for SUNSET SHOWDOWN, who has been in good form so far this summer for Rebecca Curtis. The 130-rated hurdler didn't have the pace to beat an odds-on favourite at Ffos Las but faces nothing of that quality here.

SOLSTALLA won here off 5lb lower after a short break last September and must be of interest following a wind operation. It is also worth noting that David Bass partnered the mare on that occasion and rides again for the first time since. Doubly Clever might improve now with Johnny Farrelly, while Hallings Comet usually reserves his best for this venue (won here seven times) and could be involved at the business end once more.

Irish point winner Norwegian Woods finished best of the remainder behind classy dual-purpose performer The Cashel Man at Ffos Las and deserves more respect from the layers this time, but the suspicion is that he was flattered there and WHENHELLBROKELOOSE could prove hard to stop. Second at Southwell in June, he has more to offer over this sort of distance and looks the stable pick, just ahead of hurdling debutant Lzaaz.
