She gets the vote over Tin Hat, a C&D winner 11 days ago, and Enthaar, who bounced back to winning form on his latest start.

SO MACHO appears to have been found the perfect opportunity to get off the mark at the sixth attempt. Grant Tuer's gelding has achieved a much higher level of form than all of his rivals and the drop back to 7f is in his favour. Brambledown has finished fourth on both his starts to date and could have more to offer, while Ecstasea is better than her handicap debut at Yarmouth suggests.

PADDY THE CHEF is on a nice mark of 65 and shaped like the one to take from the race when third at Yarmouth three weeks ago. The booking of talented 5lb apprentice Cieren Fallon catches the eye, and he might have too much for recent Lingfield hero Contingency Fee, who only has a 2lb rise to contend with. Amanto has his second run since a wind operation and may prove best of the remainder.

LADY MASCARA travelled like the best horse in the race when third at Sandown four weeks ago and could make it seventh time lucky for trainer James Fanshawe. The three-year-old is bred to be better than her handicap mark of 70 and could have too much staying power for Air Force Amy, who threw down a big challenge to finish second at Ffos Las last week, almost landing a gamble in the process. Temujin can chase the pair home for third.

Good Luck Charm had shown nothing prior to scoring at Lingfield last time out, seemingly appreciating the switch to a mile, but he is far from certain to follow up under a 4lb penalty. Master Poet isn't the most reliable of types but he shaped with promise when second on soft ground 24 days ago, although a more solid option might be HEDGING. Eve Johnson Houghton's charge takes a big drop in class and might go close back at the scene of his last victory.
