SAND DIEGO has shown a really good level of form so far, building on an encouraging debut fourth at Windsor to find only one too strong at Sandown. He should be up to winning a race of this nature before paying his way in nurseries. Force Of Impact also showed improvement between his first and second starts, while Aweemaweh made a pleasing beginning to his career at Salisbury. Money for the newcomer Tommy Rock would be interesting.

GREELEY seems to find top gear around this time of the year and supplemented his Salisbury victory off a 3lb higher mark at Ffos Las. He has a 6lb penalty to contend with now, but may still be fairly treated. Gendarme was last of three at Brighton but has claims on his previous Epsom triumph. Let Rip hasn't been too far away on his two 2019 appearances, and is joined on the shortlist by handicap newcomer Gallatin.

HERITAGE's winning run may have come to an end at this venue, but she lost very little in defeat behind a filly who has since made the frame twice in Listed company. The daughter of Garswood can resume her previous progression, although it won't be easy, with The Daley Express and Secretfact making swift returns following solid efforts in defeat. Just Glamorous is also kept busy but may need a little bit of help from the handicapper.

Road To Paris was probably unlucky not to back up his Yarmouth victory at Nottingham last week and there are still races to be won with him off this mark. He may have to settle for second again, though, because TAVUS broke his duck with a cosy triumph at Newbury and a 5lb rise isn't unduly harsh, with the extra couple of furlongs also in his favour. Filament Of Gold has been knocking on the door and can collect more minor money.

CUTTIN' EDGE showed his appreciation for the return to a mile by storming clear of his Salisbury rivals, and William Muir is wise to get him out again before the assessor takes revenge. Enzo had to work hard to justify favouritism at Wolverhampton, but ultimately got the job done and is just as effective on turf. Mabo proved his 33/1 Ffos Las second was no fluke when making the frame there again, while Sir Plato has slipped to an interesting mark.

UNION ROSE is a Bath regular and returning to this course and distance can help her regain the winning thread following last week's Chepstow fourth over slightly shorter. King Crimson also generally puts his best foot forward at this track, and his Brighton second was a step back in the right direction. There was little between Doc Sportello and Naadirr at Chepstow, and La Fortuna also has to enter the reckoning.
