Two-time Flat winner Ashington cost 100,000 guineas when joining John Quinn last October and is interesting on his hurdles bow, while Armandihan is another to taste success on the level and has also gone through the sales ring for big money in the past.

FLYING VERSE was an impressive five-length winner over 3m2f at Newton Abbot late last month and the seven-year-old looks capable of defying a 4lb rise. Oathkeeper is worth keeping an eye on making just his second outing for Jonjo O'Neill, while Stream Lady was only beaten a neck over 3m at Southwell and could be dangerous off the same rating.

DESERT POINT scooted clear to notch a nine-length success at Southwell earlier this month and, 5lb well in under a 7lb penalty, he could take some stopping in his bid to follow up. Something Brewing was on the scoresheet at Bangor last time and is respected off a 4lb higher rating, while dual course winner Prince Khurram went close at the same venue when last seen and he can't be ruled out either.

Course winner JAXLIGHT makes plenty of appeal following her runner-up effort at Stratford last week. The seven-year-old mare was beaten less than a length on that occasion and could have more to come off the same mark, lurking dangerously at the foot of the handicap. Ourmullion hasn't been disgraced since scoring at Newton Abbot last month and is respected, while The Herds Garden seemed to run out of steam when settling for a silver medal last time, but could build on that encouraging run.
