GO ANOTHER ONE was a smart novice hurdler last term, winning a Grade 3 at Thurles before performing with credit at the highest level behind Minella Indo at the Punchestown Festival. He made a pleasing start to life over fences at Clonmel in June and is entitled to improve from that display. The Irish raider can successfully concede weight to all of his rivals, with the only feasible threat Notnow Seamus, and even he arrives on the back of a Newton Abbot fall. Lady Markby appears best of the remainder.

Dalkingstown and PRESENT CHIEF met over C&D at the end of July, with Peter Bowen's charge just getting the job done on his Rules debut, winning by a short head. However, his Jonjo O'Neill-trained rival gets 7lb on this occasion and is backed to gain his revenge. Bucko's Boy finished second on his racecourse bow at Market Rasen and is capable of being in the mix as well.

HOT RYAN got off the mark in a C&D event last month, getting the better of Superefficient, and with that success under her belt, the daughter of Midnight Legend appears capable of defying a 5lb rise. Superefficient could also have more to offer now tackling this distance again, while handicap debutant Deise Bless is of interest with a tongue tie to aid her cause.

DOUBLY CLEVER landed his second win in three when scoring over course and distance on his first outing for Johnny Farrelly, and a 6lb rise may not be enough to stop him following up. Mister Universum was only a short head away from success at Market Rasen and has made the podium on all three outings this summer, while the 11-year-old Bally Longford proved he retains plenty of zest by winning twice over fences in June, before picking up a silver medal over track and trip.

BALLYGOWN BAY may have struggled in handicaps when reappearing in the early part of the summer, but reverting to maiden company in a first-time tongue tie can help Philip Hobbs' six-year-old make a welcome return to his best. Hattaab has shown a decent level of form in handicaps of late and is respected, while Champagne Vintage is worth a market check going up in trip for his timber bow.

EXCELLENT TEAM was a comfortable four-length winner at Newton Abbot in July, scoring with plenty up his sleeve. Despite an 8lb rise, he can go in again under the talented Connor Brace this time. Competition was a runner-up at the same venue and is dangerous with Charlie Hammond taking over to remove 3lb. Seven-time Worcester winner Hallings Comet has to be respected too.
