Carmel is interesting on her nursery debut after some solid efforts in defeat so far, while Beignet is starting to look well treated, but that is due to a couple of poor recent efforts.

Allez Sophia has performed well enough in three starts to date, though she doesn't appear any closer to winning now than on debut. Band Practice had valid excuses for her Beverley disappointment last time out and cannot be left out of calculations. JUST MAY gets the vote, however, as she was far from disgraced at Bath on debut and hails from a yard that has been among the winners recently.

Jungle Juice returns to the venue that saw her secure back-to-back successes earlier in the season, though her runs since temper enthusiasm. Indomitable has still yet to prove he has trained on from two to three but has claims on the pick of his juvenile form, though KWELA appeared to bounce back to something like his best when fitted with cheekpieces last time and could get back to winning ways in the same headgear.

Owner Hamdan Al Maktoum holds the key to this, as he has newcomer Edraak, an 82,000 pounds purchase as a yearling, and ALRAJAA. The John Gosden-trained Dubawi gelding has gone close the last twice, including on his return at Yarmouth 18 days ago, and wouldn't have to improve much to prove too good for these rivals. Four Feet might be the pick of the remainder.

The return to a sounder surface may help here, while any rain would help I Am A Dreamer, who scored on soft at Catterick before struggling on the all-weather last time. All conditions seem to come alike for ALUQAIR, who followed up a second place on a quick surface at Doncaster with a victory on good to soft at Salisbury last time. He could follow up.

FRECKLES' form had tailed off alarmingly since winning at Bath in May, but she returned to something like her best when upped to nine furlongs at Newbury last time and could be suited by this test. Essenaitch is starting to look well treated and ran respectably here two starts ago, while Arctic Sea didn't seem to stay over further at Windsor latest and may relish this trip.

OCEAN REACH seemed to improve for the step up to this trip when third here last time and she could go even better off the same mark here. Twenty Years On may benefit from the drop back in distance, having run over 1m6f at Bath last time, while Magic Act has to be of interest on his handicap debut for Mark Johnston.
