Two Hoots hasn't been seen since April, but he was a model of consistency in the spring and could make his presence felt, while Real Warrior was a fair third in a novice chase here last month and could build on that effort now switched to handicaps. Dragon Khan won narrowly at Bangor and is interesting off just 4lb higher, but JACKTHEJOURNEYMAN returned from nine months off the track to finish in midfield at Market Rasen in August and could build on that effort here.Prediction : 1st Jackthejourneyman 2nd Dragon Khan 3rd Two Hoots

All four of these runners come into the race on the back of last-time-out successes, but OUR REWARD won with plenty in hand over hurdles here last time and is rated 17lb lower over fences. Jamie Snowden's charge is evidently improving so could leave his previous chase form behind, though is he fails to fire then Newton Abbot scorer Manofthemountain could be the one to take advantage as he is only 4lb higher here. Trumps Benefit struck by a head at Worcester but is 6lb higher here, while Kildaven Spider is up 4lb for winning over this C&D last time.Prediction : 1st Our Reward 2nd Manofthemountain 3rd Trumps Benefit

Princess Nearco won on her hurdling debut over 2m4f here, but it was a far from error-free round and she struggled back on the level last time. Diomede des Mottes was cast aside in a Grade 3 at Sandown two starts ago but looked a really promising sort when easing to victory at Warwick in this class, but he may struggle to give weight to BIG NASTY. Martin Keighley's gelding got within three lengths of success on his hurdling debut at Wetherby in April and could return to action with a win here.Prediction : 1st Big Nasty 2nd Diomede des Mottes 3rd Princess Nearco

Calvinist merits respect on his handicap debut as he was a decent second in a four-runner affair at Uttoxeter last time, while Heavey won his maiden hurdle nicely at Perth but struggled terribly under a penalty in novice company at Cartmel. Trapper Peak landed back-to-back successes when last seen but has been off the track since February, so SUPEREFFICIENT gets the vote. Dan Skelton's charge has placed on two recent outings over timber at Worcester and could relish the drop to this trip.Prediction : 1st Superefficient 2nd Trapper Peak 3rd Calvinist

It could pay to focus on those with previous successes to their names here. NORDICAN BLEUE made it two wins from her last three when making all to score at Newton Abbot last month and with a C&D victory to her name, Richard Newland's filly can strike again. Duck Egg Blue won here in August and was not disgraced in handicap company at Perth, while Statuario won by 21 lenghts at Ffos Las back in April and has been kept busy on the Flat since. Book Of Invasions was a classy sort in bumpers and is another to note.Prediction : 1st Nordican Bleue 2nd Statuario 3rd Duck Egg Blue

The veteran Boher Lad scored with some authority here last time but a 5lb rise will make things more difficult for the 11-year-old, while SANDY BOY is another who has a 5lb hike to contend with but the five-year-old may be better equipped to do so. Philip Hobbs' charge had a subsequent winner behind at Worcester that day so could be good value for his rise in the ratings. Ulysses is rarely far away and has to be considered, while Robyndzone is another who was consistent enough recently.Prediction : 1st Sandy Boy 2nd Ulysses 3rd Boher Lad
