SPIRIT OF THE SKY made a cracking start to her career when giving best only to a filly with previous experience at Pontefract, and natural improvement could be enough for the daughter of Swiss Spirit to go one better. Rathagan showed a glimmer of promise at Chelmsford, and Abbaleka wasn't bad at Yarmouth, but the newcomer Marina Grove, a 110,000-pounds Kodiac filly, is likely to present the selection with the sternest question.
Prediction : 1st Spirit Of The Sky 2nd Marina Grove 3rd Rathagan

CRAYLANDS has hit the crossbar in maidens at two of the biggest summer fixtures, finishing a three-quarter-length second at Newmarket's July Festival before going even closer at Glorious Goodwood. Michael Bell will count himself unfortunate if his Fillies' Mile entry bumps into another above-average rival here, although 120,000gns purchase Dubai Love is an interesting newcomer for Godolphin. Notation made some late headway on her Carlisle introduction, while Rainbow Jet outran big odds to occupy the runner-up berth at Haydock.
Prediction : 1st Craylands 2nd Dubai Love 3rd Notation

Come On Girl continued her forward momentum when runner-up at Leicester but she has her sights raised, whereas WHAT A BUSINESS drops slightly in class after his excellent second at Ayr and can take advantage. Danny Ocean found only one too strong at Newcastle on the same day, with Paddy Elliott and Red Jasper also performing with great credit in defeat of late. Making History didn't seem to like the all-weather at Chelmsford, but his previous efforts warrant him consideration here.
Prediction : 1st What A Business 2nd Come On Girl 3rd Danny Ocean

KENNY THE CAPTAIN romped home from the front at Redcar last week and rates the one to beat now turned out under a penalty. Ugo Gregory landed back-to-back C&D victories before being denied a hat-trick at Carlisle last time, though it would come as no surprise to see him return to winning ways now reverting to this venue. Big runs from Fantasy Keeper and Afandem could also be on the cards.
Prediction : 1st Kenny The Captain 2nd Ugo Gregory 3rd Fantasy Keeper

SENDEED won by under a length over 1m3f at Kempton when last sighted and if he can transfer that form onto turf, over this slightly shorter trip, he could run a big race with a weight-for-age allowance. Orange Suit has been raised 4lb for winning on fast ground at Bath and has place possibilities, as does Allegiant, who drops from 1m4f after two outings at Epsom and scored impressively over this trip at HQ in August.
Prediction : 1st Sendeed 2nd Orange Suit 3rd Allegiant

GOSHEN improved plenty when stepped up in distance on both his handicap outings at Brighton and Sandown in June. Gary Moore's gelding appears capable of further improvement despite a 10lb rise for his most recent victory. Maid In Manhattan was unable to land the hat-trick at Haydock last month but is worth another chance, while Celestial Force and Sassie enter calculations as well.
Prediction : 1st Goshen 2nd Maid In Manhattan 3rd Celestial Force

APERITIF bounced back from a disappointing effort at Doncaster when third at Salisbury on her most recent start and Michael Bell's filly makes plenty of appeal as her last appearance over the minimum distance resulted in a win at Haydock in July. Mr Greenlight finished second at Ayr when dropped in trip 13 days ago and is capable of a decent showing along with Honey Gg, who performed well in defeat on Fibresand at Southwell latest.
Prediction : 1st Aperitif 2nd Mr Greenlight 3rd Honey Gg
