BRUNELLE got off the mark at the first time of asking in a 6f maiden at Leopardstown and although she was held in Group 3 company at the Curragh in August, she still sets the form standard on that performance. George Cornelius left a favourable impression when bolting up by 10 lengths on debut over track and trip and can fight it out with the 94-rated Phase After Phase and Robert Cowell's raider, Cool Sphere, for the silver medal.
Prediction : 1st Brunelle 2nd George Cornelius 3rd Cool Sphere

MARMOLATA took a step in the right direction when third over this trip at Cork last month and is taken to find the improvement needed to score at the third attempt. Pocotaligo was beaten by under a length in a similar event over 1m here last time and has solid claims if running to the same level of form now debuting for Ado McGuinness. Royal Highness may improve for the drop back from 1m and could also feasibly take a hand.
Prediction : 1st Marmolata 2nd Pocotaligo 3rd Royal Highness

SHINES HER LIGHT was thwarted by a head on her nursery bow at Naas last month (with Lampetia back in third) and could be considered something of an unlucky loser that day after meeting with trouble in running. Jessica Harrington's charge does now have a 6lb rise to contend with but she travelled strongly last time and promises to be suited by this drop back in trip. Believe In Beauty steps up in distance after landing a 6f course maiden and could also take a hand.
Prediction : 1st Shines Her Light 2nd Lampetia 3rd Believe In Beauty

FORT MYERS has been running with credit in Group company for most of this season and Aidan O'Brien's youngster has the chance to pick up a first victory since scoring here on debut in April in what could be slightly calmer waters. Justifier, who won the Caravaggio Stakes in August, wasn't disgraced in a Curragh Group 2 last time and has to be taken seriously, while Unforgetable, who was second to Love in the Silver Flash Stakes at Leopardstown in July, could leave his recent Doncaster disappointment behind now returning to seven furlongs and rates the pick of Joseph O'Brien's duo.
Prediction : 1st Fort Myers 2nd Justifier 3rd Unforgetable

BELLAKRIS built on some near-misses to finally get off the mark at Naas in August and now makes plenty of appeal switching to the handicap ranks looking to follow up. She can reverse form with Kaftan, who got the better of the selection at Naas earlier in the summer and is one of the more likely contenders here having run to a good level since. Festina Plente finds herself 11lb higher than when scoring at Gowran last month which makes this tougher, while course-and-distance winner Calling Time and Outside Inside are others to consider.
Prediction : 1st Bellakris 2nd Kaftan 3rd Festina Plente

MUNAAJAAT built on a better turf effort at the Curragh in August when going down by a mere head on her all-weather bow here a fortnight ago. She is up 4lb for that, but is open to stacks more improvement on a synthetic surface and is difficult to get away from here. Buzz Killington won't be done progressing yet and goes up to a mile fitted with first-time blinkers, while Mulzamm should also be considered.
Prediction : 1st Munaajaat 2nd Buzz Killington 3rd Mulzamm

FARNESE won on his handicap/all-weather debut last month and a 6lb rise might not be enough to halt the C&D winner. The son of Oasis Dream won that day despite still looking green inside the final couple of furlongs and should therefore be improving all the time with experience. In receipt of his weight-for-age allowance, he gets a confident vote ahead of Hidden Spark and Caesar's Comet.
Prediction : 1st Farnese 2nd Hidden Spark 3rd Caesars Comet

QUOTE beat a useful yardstick in the shape of Hannon (rated 131 over hurdles) on the Flat 57 days ago and could be worth following now that the penny has dropped with her. She shaped there as though even more improvement could be forthcoming and a 3lb rise may still underestimate this filly. Dalileo finished second in a competitive handicap here last week and deserves respect, while the reliable Construct is another to keep onside.
Prediction : 1st Quote 2nd Dalileo 3rd Construct
