The step up to this distance worked the oracle for LUCK OF THE LEGION at Warwick, with Tom Lacey's lightly-raced mare breaking her duck decisively. The handicapper has responded with an 8lb rise, but there should plenty more in the locker. Heavenly Promise improved for the switch to the Fergal O'Brien team when third over fences at Worcester, and she is able to compete off 6lb lower. Jimmy rounded out his last campaign with a disappointing display at this venue, but he was progressive prior to it.Prediction : 1st Luck Of The Legion 2nd Heavenly Promise 3rd Jimmy

Pointed And Sharp scored with something up his sleeve over slightly shorter here, although whether there was enough left for him to defy this 7lb higher mark is debatable. He should be in the thick of the action, but INCLUDED could be better treated because she has performed to a decent level since going chasing and wouldn't be the first to improve for the switch to Richard Newland's stable. Gleno won three of his four handicap hurdles and even more is expected from him in this sphere, with Annie Bonny another fencing newcomer to consider.Prediction : 1st Included 2nd Pointed And Sharp 3rd Gleno

Chapmanshype completed a Fontwell brace in the space of just over two weeks and is firmly on an upward curve. Zubayr struggled at Glorious Goodwood but was successful on his last outing over obstacles, while Trans Express has seemingly forgotten how to run a bad race and arrives fresh from a summer holiday. HIGHWAY ONE O ONE is better known as a chaser, and a very smart handicapper at that. This will undoubtedly tee him up for some big targets during the winter, but he is comparatively well treated over timber and has won first time out for the past two seasons.Prediction : 1st Highway One O One 2nd Chapmanshype 3rd Zubayr

CERVARO MIX was in top form in the spring, winning emphatically over timber at Southwell, before running out a comfortable winner on his chasing debut at this venue on his next start. He rates as the one to beat on his first outing of the winter and could have plenty of milage in the tank over the larger obstacles. Master Work shaped nicely enough over these obstacles in the early part of the year to suggest he could get involved, while course-and-distance winning pair Darebin and No No Cardinal can't be ruled out. Prediction : 1st Cervaro Mix 2nd Master Work 3rd No No Cardinal

Shut The Box built on his fifth behind subsequent Cheltenham/Aintree winner Pentland Hills when winning at Plumpton and he should go well under a penalty, but a chance is taken on Jamie Snowden's Irish recruit MINELLA BEAT. Two fine bumper efforts for John Nallen included a second behind the high-class Battleoverdoyen and jumping hurdles shouldn't be a problem as he boasts winning point-to-point form. Freedom Run looks best of the remainder. Prediction : 1st Minella Beat 2nd Shut The Box 3rd Freedom Run

It's difficult to be too confident about any of these, but BROWN BEAR is a triple course winner and he has been performing well over both fences and hurdles in recent times. Catch My Drift didn't appear to get home over 3m at Southwell and merits consideration dropping back in trip, while Goldslinger and Hit The Highway are others to note. Prediction : 1st Brown Bear 2nd Catch My Drift 3rd Goldslinger

This could be an above-average bumper for the time of year, with some decent NH and point-to-point form on display. Strike The Flint got the better of Baddesley at Plumpton in April and could confirm her superiority, while Corrie Lake warrants respect following her seven-length C&D success. Winter Getaway has joined Philip Hobbs since winning between the flags in May and must enter calculations on her Rules debut, but preference is for another point winner in EXOD'ELA. He was bought for 80,000 pounds after scoring at Lismore and looks a useful prospect.Prediction : 1st Exodela 2nd Strike The Flint 3rd Winter Getaway
