The three-year-old is related to plenty of nice types, and could thrive in this sphere for his famous owner, Ireland Rugby Union coach Joe Schmidt. Nobel Joshua didn't seem to enjoy his experience on the Flat at the Curragh last week but could do better switched to this sphere, while Theatre Of War is another to note.

LUCKY PHIL wasn't disgraced on her chasing debut when fourth at Sligo 10 days ago, but she returns to hurdles now and is expected to go close back under Bryan Cooper. Unfortunate in this sphere in August and September at Cork and Listowel respectively, the six-year-old can win races off a mark of 100 and can prove too hot to handle for Alice Johnston, who only found one too good at Clonmel four weeks ago. Rebel Early is also considered.

RUN WILD FRED has some smart form behind Champion Bumper hero Envoi Allen and added Limerick success to his previous Fairyhouse triumph in that sphere. The five-year-old should go well on hurdles debut and can confirm Limerick form with Bois De Clamart, who finished second to the selection earlier in the year. Joseph O'Brien landed this prize last year and his representative Chead Solas is also fancied to go close.

SKY MARSHAL was touched off by a head by Line Out over 2m4f at Listowel three weeks ago but may be able to step up on that effort and reverse the form, despite a 3lb rise in the ratings, now fitted with first-time cheekpieces and stepped up in trip. Eight And Bob has been in good order on the Flat this summer and merits consideration now sent back over timber, while recent Down Royal scorer Macgiloney and returning Gigginstown runner Elwood are others to note.

PEREGRINE RUN ran creditably when fourth in the Galway Plate and is expected to remain competitive now he doesn't have to lumber one of the top weights in a handicap. The Storyteller lowers his sights and is having his first start since finishing third in the Punchestown Gold Cup so could emerge as the main danger to the selection. Shattered Love commands respect in receipt of her mares' allowance and could also show up well.

FREEWHEELIN DYLAN made up for his Tramore tumble when running clear to land a comfortable victory at Kilbeggan last time and the seven-year-old looks to have enough in hand to cope with a 9lb higher mark. Kilkishen was almost six lengths adrift in second on that occasion and could bridge that deficit at these revised terms, while Graineyhill and Aherlow both made the podium last time and are others who could get involved.

The only real blot in DALLAS DES PICTONS' copybook over hurdles came when tried in Grade 1 company at Aintree and this could be the ideal starting point over the larger obstacles. The Gigginstown performer could have too much class for his rivals in a contest the owners won in both 2016 and 2017. Advantage Point finished ahead of the selection at Naas in the early stages of last season and is the main danger, while the JP McManus runner The Long Mile is also noted.
