SUNCHART made a promising debut when chasing home an experienced, and potentially high-class, Aidan O'Brien inmate at Listowel last month and, likely to improve for this extra furlong, he could take a lot of beating. The best of O'Brien's this time might be Dawn Patrol, who is closely related to 2011 Derby winner Pour Moi and has Seamie Heffernan in the plate, while Sacramento, trained by his son, Joseph, cannot be ruled out either.

Cyrus Dallin has been in cracking form over shorter and looks sure to give another good account, but it might pay to side with the unexposed ASKERANA. Dermot Weld's handicap newcomer revelled in the mud on her debut over 1m2f at Roscommon, winning easier than the half a length margin suggests, and an opening mark of 77 looks generous. Ideal Pal completes the shortlist arriving on the back of two solid placed efforts.

Dermot Weld has a fantastic record in this race, winning five of the last nine renewals, and the master of Rosewell appears to have another cracking chance with IMAGING this time around. The Oasis Dream colt is 7lb and upwards ahead of these rivals on official figures and was narrowly denied a pattern-race hat-trick in Group 2 company at Baden-Baden in May. With an ability to run well fresh, he is the one they all have to beat. Former Stablemate, and winner of this contest last year, Yulong Gold Fairy is respected on her first start for Jim Bolger, while Haydock runner-up Dubai Dominion also has a squeak.

Davids Charm had warm favourite Ballyoisin back in fifth when plundering a good prize at the Listowel Festival, and this could be the season where he graduates beyond handicap company. Even so, PETIT MOUCHOIR has been a top-notcher for a good few years and proved with sound Grade 1 efforts at Leopardstown and Punchestown that the fire still burns bright. Winter Escape developed into a classy novice chaser last term and this could be a springboard to another profitable campaign at that discipline.

WAY BACK HOME kept excellent company as a juvenile hurdler and has a Grade 3 victory on his CV. Two excellent efforts on the level recently will have put him right for a return to the winter game. Turnpike Trip is two from three since going jumping, with his only defeat coming when runner-up in a Galway Listed heat. Wilile Mullins has won this for the last four years and while the champion trainer is without a representative this time, the family could still have a part to play courtesy of Tara Dylan, providing she puts her Ballinrobe flop behind her.

JAKE PETER is just 1lb higher than when runner-up at Fairyhouse in December and following some useful performances on the Flat since, can make that match-fitness count back over hurdles. Wait Here arrives in good form and having picked up a silver medal at Killarney, makes plenty of appeal off a 2lb higher rating. Trainwreck was a lot further back on that occasion, but will have appreciated that first outing in 266 days and it would be no surprise to see the seven-year-old play a part.

CHAMPAGNE CLASSIC was a winner at the Cheltenham Festival and of a Grade 1 at Punchestown in the spring of 2017. Having missed the whole of the following campaign, he shaped nicely in two outings over fences earlier in the year and is backed to build on that to make his mark over a distance which could be a nice starting point. Willie Mullins has a fine record in this and saddles three, the pick of which could be Brahma Bull, who turned the tables on Robin De Carlow at Killarney. C&D winner Put The Kettle On arrives unbeaten in four, and his stablemate Moon Over Germany has claimed some decent scalps in winning two of his last three.

It looked a useful contest in which The Little Yank picked up a silver medal at Listowel and it would be no surprise to see him figure at the finish here. Double Talkin Jive caused a bit of a shock when holding off the favourite on debut at Killarney and requires respect. However, it may be worth siding with ESCARIA TEN, who struck between the flags in March and now makes his Rules debut for Gordon Elliott, with Jamie Codd doing the steering.
