Ferrobin found just one opponent too good when searching for back-to-back victories on his reappearance at Warwick 13 days ago and is likely to be on the premises once again here. However, preference is for ONTHEFRONTFOOT, who returns having won two in a row in the spring and couldn't have been more impressive at Cartmel when last seen. Ashington and Ballard Down were both silver medalists on their hurdling debuts and are others to note.
Prediction : 1st Onthefrontfoot 2nd Ferrobin 3rd Ashington

The lightly-raced MAIRE BANRIGH has always been thought of as a good prospect for chasing and following some confidence-boosting victories over hurdles last year, she could fulfil the promise that commanded 320,000 pounds at the sales now making her first outing over the larger obstacles. Song Of The Sky has chasing experience on her side and can build on her track-and-trip third in August, while Strictlyadancer could make the frame if this trip doesn't prove to be too sharp.
Prediction : 1st Maire Banrigh 2nd Song Of The Sky 3rd Strictlyadancer

BLACK BUBLE was only a neck away from landing a hat-trick when last seen in the spring and could be the one to side with returning off the same mark as that Kempton second. Stablemate Vive Le Roi won this race last year and gives Tony Carroll a strong, while Dr Des is interesting on his return to timber following a season over fences which didn't go completely to plan.
Prediction : 1st Black Buble 2nd Vive Le Roi 3rd Dr Des

CHIMES OF DYLAN was in the process of running a solid race when a last-fence faller at Sedgefield and, providing that nasty experience hasn't dented his confidence, he could prove difficult to beat. Forever My Friend posted an improved effort at Market Rasen last time and warrants respect off this 2lb lower mark, while Oak Vintage also merits consideration on his return from a 182-day break.
Prediction : 1st Chimes Of Dylan 2nd Forever My Friend 3rd Oak Vintage

ONBOARD only found the in-form Sizing Tara too good on his handicap debut at Newton Abbot and, with further improvement likely, he could defy a 4lb rise to go one better today. Celtic Joy has also gone up 4lb for striking the crossbar last time and he is likely to be in the shake-up again, while 13-length Worcester scorer The Accountant completes the shortlist.
Prediction : 1st Onboard 2nd Celtic Joy 3rd The Accountant

Although a shade fortunate to win (main rival swerved and unseated rider late on), LEROY BROWN showed he had bags of ability first time out at Worcester and the four-year-old is fancied to follow up under a penalty. Including two point-to-point races, Full Of Roque has finished runner-up in each of his three outings to date and is likely to give another good account, while Witness Protection and Shantou Express add further spice to the event.
Prediction : 1st Leroy Brown 2nd Full Of Roque 3rd Witness Protection
