She placed behind the same rival in a Group 2 the following month and, on that effort, could prove a tough nut to crack in what appears the easiest assignment she has faced so far in her career. Stable companion Love Locket is respected dropping back in distance after disappointing in a Group 3 here a fortnight ago, while others to note include the Dermot Weld pairing of Gatwick Kitten and Summit Rock.

TANGO finished fourth in a Group 1 at Newmarket two weeks ago and could claim a first victory since June for Aidan O'Brien. The 103-rated filly was also deemed good enough to run at Royal Ascot earlier in the year, and sets a fair form standard for the remainder to aim at. Lil Grey was around five lengths behind the selection last time and may get a bit closer today having won at this venue in the past, while Arranmore could land a share of the spoils too.

The form standard is set by 102-rated Joseph O'Brien representative A NEW DAWN, who was touched off by a neck in a 7f Group 3 in the mud here last month and could improve for this step up in trip. In an open-looking heat, the main danger may be Ballydoyle representative Fancy Blue, who got on top in the final strides when making a winning debut at Naas and, like fellow 7f maiden winner Auxilia, could relish this stiffer test of stamina.

MAKE A CHALLENGE has gone from strength to strength in the handicap ranks this summer, winning four of his last five outings. The way he drew clear over 5f here last month suggests he could have a big say now tried in Listed company and he will relish the forecast soft ground. Downforce was runner-up in a track-and-trip Group 3 on the same card and is respected, while Flight Risk is a proven performer at this level and was a comfortable winner at Cork last time.

MEDICINE JACK is 17lb below his last winning mark and was the one to take from the race when a fast-finishing second at Navan four days ago for Ger Lyons. This step up in distance will suit, and the five-year-old can put his experience to good use against the unbeaten Sendmylovetoyou, who scored on debut here for Michael Halford in August. The Broghie Man was an improved third at Cork 12 days ago and is another to be interested in.

Dalton Highway struck over course and distance on fast ground in May but demonstrated his versatility when a solid second behind Davids Charm on soft over 1m6f at Killarney last time. He could feasibly turn the tables now reopposing that rival over 2m, though narrow preference is for Willie Mullins' SAGLAWY, a 147-rated hurdler who slammed Newcross by five lengths at Listowel and could be on a workable mark now having his first handicap start on the Flat. Royal Aide, in receipt of weight for age, is also noted.

NJORD's form since winning at Gowran in May is difficult to knock and the consistent performer, who was sent off favourite at Galway on his latest effort, is likely to be in the mix once again at the finish with conditions set to suit. Passing Trade is another who won't mind the soft ground and has finished on the podium on three occasions in the past month, while Khafaaq has been running better than the bare results would suggest of late and is interesting in first-time cheekpieces.

Little Clarinet was a shade disappointing over the extended 6f trip here last time but is back on the same mark as when second at Navan two starts ago, while Pulse Of Shanghai is an interesting acquisition by Paddy Twomey after he opened his account at Down Royal in August. Sestriere appears to be coming to hand judged by her last two runs, but this could be the ideal chance for VOCATUS to open his account. Jim Bolger's colt has gone close in a couple of races over further of late and has run well in maiden company over this track and trip in the past.
