HAPARANDA makes plenty of appeal on her pedigree, being a half-sister to dual Group 3 winner Hazapour, and Dermot Weld's filly can make a winning start to her racing career. Gin Blossom ran well on her debut when runner-up at the Curragh last month and she has to enter calculations, along with Lemista, who is better than her latest outing at Cork suggests.

Ger Lyons' gelding makes his handicap debut off what could prove a fair mark of 70 and, with further improvement to come, he gets the vote on this occasion. Mother Vincent placed on her first outing in handicap company at the Curragh last month and is respected, along with Muntahez, who won his latest start at Tipperary.

THE KING OF KELLS was beaten by half a length off this mark over 5f at Navan last week and keeping on well in the closing stages, he looks worth a try over this longer trip. Dragon Of Malta performed creditably in defeat when fourth over 6f at the Curragh last time and is another for whom this stiffer test is expected to unlock improvement. Simply True, who picked up minor money over 1m at the Curragh last month, looks best of the rest.

CONVERSANT struck over the extended 6f at Listowel in September and wasn't disgraced when third over the extended mile at Cork last time. A big run is forecast now he drops back to this intermediate trip. Stamp Of Authority has winning C&D form in the book and commands plenty of respect on the back of his distance victory at Ayr, while Scorpion Black, who is rated 3lb higher than when winning over 1m here in June, could also be involved at the finish.

LADY SCATHACH was a decent third over 1m here last time and is expected to step up on that effort now cutting back to 7f. Sayesse is fitted with first-time blinkers on his second start for Gavin Cromwell and could feasibly take a forward step, while it is unlikely we've seen the best of unexposed Dermot Weld runner Feather Step, who could benefit from the addition of cheekpieces.
