It's proving to be a red-hot maiden in which AMMA GRACE finished third on debut at Cork, as the fourth won a Group 3 next time and the fifth and seventh have also been successful subsequently. The money which came for her before that race suggests that she shows plenty at home, and the daughter of Galileo could prove difficult to beat second time out. Sindhia made a pleasing introduction over 7f at Naas and she should improve for this step up in trip, while jockey bookings would suggest that Pyramid Rock is Jessica Harrington's main hope.
Prediction : 1st Amma Grace 2nd Sindhia 3rd Pyramid Rock

AGITARE has posted a number of solid efforts in defeat, including when beaten three lengths into third in the Group 2 Champions Juvenile Stakes over C&D last time, and it will be disappointing if the 100-rated performer doesn't open his account today. That said, Dermot Weld has interestingly won three of the last four runnings of this contest so it would come as no surprise to see Ashtarak run a big race on debut, while King Of The Throne looks to have an each-way chance following his pleasing introduction at the Curragh.
Prediction : 1st Agitare 2nd Ashtarak 3rd King Of The Throne

SIMPLY TRUE backed up his Curragh (1m) second with a gritty 7f success at Gowran on Monday, both on heavy ground, and with the talented Andrew Slattery taking 5lb off his back, he is the one they all have to beat. Kenshibu wasn't disgraced when finishing fifth in the aforementioned Gowran contest and he warrants respect sporting first-time blinkers with Colin Keane aboard, while Meeting might just improve significantly for this switch to handicap company.
Prediction : 1st Simply True 2nd Kenshibu 3rd Meeting

SPANISH TENOR bolted up by seven lengths over this trip at Limerick last time and is expected to remain competitive under the forecast testing conditions. If an 11lb rise anchors the selection then the one to be on could be Massa Lubrense, who struck over 7f at the Curragh in August and has also run creditably over this longer trip in the past. Sagittarius Rising, who steps up from 7f, is another to consider for the minor money.
Prediction : 1st Spanish Tenor 2nd Massa Lubrense 3rd Sagittarius Rising

The form standard is set by IBERIA, who lost little in defeat when third over 1m in the Royal Lodge Stakes at Newmarket last month, and he looks the one to beat. Geometrical appears closely matched with the selection on official figures and makes strong appeal on his Curragh Group 2 third in August. Camachita and Stela Star would be surprise winners on these terms, though Katiba is worth monitoring in the betting given her unexposed profile.
Prediction : 1st Iberia 2nd Geometrical 3rd Katiba

KING PELLINOR opened her account in a 1m4f maiden at Gowran earlier in the month and is expected to be competitive, in receipt of a weight-for-age allowance, now moving back into a handicap off this 3lb higher perch. Takarengo justified favouritism in a distance maiden at Roscommon when last sighted and could finish on the premises, while L'empathie is considered closely after opening her account second time out at Listowel.
Prediction : 1st King Pellinor 2nd Takarengo 3rd Lempathie

RAKAN's most recent effort saw him finishing last in the Irish Derby but Dermot Weld's colt could easily bounce back to form having won a Listed contest here over 1m4f the time before. Mount Everest may benefit from the drop back in distance after a disappointing effort at Newmarket last month, while One Cool Poet arrives in the form of his life, winning four of his last five outings, and is worth a try at this level.
Prediction : 1st Rakan 2nd Mount Everest 3rd One Cool Poet

ZARANDI has been a beaten favourite on all three starts in his career but the son of Scat Daddy could take the step forward required now going up in distance and being fitted with first-time cheekpieces. Karakhan didn't appear to get home over 1m5f at Navan on his most recent outing in June and he can enter the reckoning after a four-month absence. Aced It, who could benefit from being gelded, and Tranchee, in first-time blinkers, complete the shortlist.
Prediction : 1st Zarandi 2nd Karakhan 3rd Aced It
