Karl Burke's filly ran well for third over the minimum trip here two starts ago and showed her effectiveness at this trip when second at Chelmsford last time.

Hughie Morrison's charge hinted that this could be his time of year when second behind Rake's Progress at Nottingham last time and the son of Mayson could exact his revenge on 5lb better terms. Glasses Up has been there or thereabouts on his last three outings and is considered.

FUN MAC hasn't found the winner's enclosure for two years, but he struck in Listed company when last successful and showed glimpses of that ability earlier in the season. He is taken to find form here at the main expense of Arrowtown, who was prolific at this time last year and wasn;t too far away at York last time. Rubenesque's winning run came to an end at York (where she was behind Arrowtown), but it's surely too soon to write her off completely.

MILITIA has earned his stripes in recent outings, following up a convincing Ayr success with another win off 5lb higher at Musselburgh last week. Now carrying a 5lb penalty for the latest of those wins, he can still prove tough to beat. Desert Ace was a shade disappointing at Musselburgh last time but this stiffer 5f test promises to suit, while Autumn Flight was hugely impressive at Hamilton last time but the handicapper appears to have taken no chances in raising him 10lb.
