YOUNG TIGER had hinted that his time was near when third at Catterick last month and confirmed that promise with victory at Newcastle last time. Tom Tate's charge is up 6lb for that, but could be one to keep onside while in this form. Bluella has won at this track this year but her efforts since have not been of the same standard, while Piazon was some way behind the selection at Catterick but improved on that when third at Redcar last time.

London Calling went close at Chelmsford but has had a fair few chances already, while Finery showed plenty of promise when second on her debut at Newcastle. Capla Cubiste showed up well on debut at Brighton, but preference is for CREATIVITY. Richard Fahey's filly has the advantage of course experience and showed she acts on this surface when placing in both starts over C&D.

Axe Axelrod has been in fine form at Newcastle of late and has to be respected if bringing that same level to this track, though SAMOVAR's excellent recent run has come at this venue. Scott Dixon's gelding won narrowly earlier this month and was a close second six days later. Five days on from that recent effort, he runs off a 2lb lower mark and can strike. Orange Blossom has been showing up well on turf and is considered, along with Young John.

Break The Silence has been running well in defeat under his young jockey and is well worth a second glance, but FLY TRUE could prove tough to beat. Not beaten far when fourth over C&D earlier this month, the handicapper may have been generous to Ivan Furtado's mare by dropping her 1lb. Suitcase 'n' Taxi has been knocking on the door on turf of late and could be a factor in this.

13-year-old veteran Alpha Tauri got quickly back to winning ways in a three-runner affair over 7f here and he is capable of challenging again, though the younger legs of ATALANTA QUEEN could be a better bet. Robyn Brisland's four-year-old showed plenty of determination to score narrowly here last time and a 3lb rise may not be enough to stop her repeating that feat over the same track and trip. Global Exceed was a decent third at Newcastle and is another to note.

RISK MITIGATION ran a decent race in second over this course and distance last time and looks to have been found a good opportunity by David Evans here. Keith ran respectably in a Leicester seller last time and looks capable of taking a hand in this, while Archie's Sister appeared to relish the drop back to this trip when fourth here 11 days ago and has to enter the reckoning, despite struggling at Catterick on Saturday.

Connections of MARVEL have endured plenty of frustrating days of late as the Julie Camacho-trained gelding has filled the runner-up spot on his last four starts. This could be his chance to shine back up in trip and he is taken to get the better of Tease Maid, who bounced back to form with a close-up second over this track and trip last time. Ventura Glory completes the shortlist.
