MAC CENNETIG has made a bright start to life over the larger obstacles, winning at Market Rasen in July before reappearing with a fine effort in a muddling four-runner event at Sedgefield last month. The form of that run has since been franked by the winner and runner-up, and Micky Hammond's seven-year-old could be set for a bold bid from just a 2lb higher rating. Snowy Oscar shaped nicely on his first run following wind surgery at Huntingdon earlier this month and is respected, while The Dawn Man appears fairly treated at present.
Prediction : 1st Mac Cennetig 2nd Snowy Oscar 3rd The Dawn Man

STOP THE WORLD appreciated the step up to three miles at the back end of last season and there is every chance that the switch to fences can bring out the best in the son of Oscar, who once finished second to the more than useful Brewin'upastorm in the pointing field. Notachance was a winner when last sighted in the spring. Alan King's five-year-old is expected to improve now chasing and has previously performed well at this track. Eclair De Guye and Thomas Shelby, making his debut for Caroline Bailey following a spell between the flags, are others to note.
Prediction : 1st Stop The World 2nd Notachance 3rd Thomas Shelby

Winning pointer GARRY CLERMONT made a successful switch to racing under Rules when scoring in an Aintree bumper on his debut for Jonjo O'Neill, and the 150,000-pounds buy looks set to extend his unbeaten run stepping up in trip on his hurdles bow. Harry Fry saddles two in Gameface, whose only appearance for the yard came in a stacked Newbury contest last winter, and Winningseverything, who shaped nicely enough in bumpers to suggest he could improve now tackling obstacles. The penny dropped for Rintulla at Carlisle in the spring and he could build on that here, with point-to-point winner Serralunga also of interest.
Prediction : 1st Garry Clermont 2nd Rintulla 3rd Serralunga

SPEEDY CARGO was disappointing on his handicap bow at Newcastle in January but he could leave that form behind on his yard debut for Warren Greatrex after wind surgery. Lord Sparky won on his third start at Huntingdon and shaped as though he would have more to offer for the step up to 3m, while any market support for Glenforde would have to be noted on his first outing for Dan Skelton.
Prediction : 1st Speedy Cargo 2nd Lord Sparky 3rd Glenforde

SID HOODIE arrives in search of a hat-trick of victories having scored at Uttoxeter and Warwick earlier this autumn. The manner in which she finishes off her races suggests the step up in distance will prove no issue to Charlie Mann's mare, who can put her race-fitness to good use. Outofthisworld remains open to improvement for a stable which is beginning to hit full stride, while Coded Message and Oscar Rose appear best of the remainder.
Prediction : 1st Sid Hoodie 2nd Outofthisworld 3rd Coded Message

Alex Hales' last four runners have been successful at the time of writing and MUSICAL STARDUST could be worth keeping onside. A good third at Plumpton four weeks ago, the six-year-old has been dropped 1lb since and should enjoy this drying ground. Beautiful Ben could do better now back over hurdles, while Dariya represents a trainer who usually does well at this time of year and is noted after her recent Warwick third.
Prediction : 1st Musical Stardust 2nd Beautiful Ben 3rd Dariya

Gunsight Ridge has been a bit of a 'talking horse' over the summer for Olly Murphy and should make a promising debut, while Arcadian Spring was travelling nicely enough before slipping at Warwick three weeks ago and should be up there if over that mishap. Harry Fry enjoyed an excellent season with his bumper string last year and Aquila Sky makes some appeal, but it will take a good one to stop Warren Greatrex's KEMBLE'S CASCADE. Second in a hot bumper at Warwick during the spring where he was just beaten by one with prior racecourse experience, the four-year-old travelled like the best horse in that race and can go one better.
Prediction : 1st Kembles Cascade 2nd Gunsight Ridge 3rd Arcadian Spring
