NO REMATCH shaped on all three outings last season as though he would be suited by a step up in trip, which he gets on his handicap debut, and an opening mark of 114 could underestimate his true ability. Sandy Boy and Eva's Oskar arrive in search of a hat-trick of victories with the pair both capable of progressing further, while Accordingtogino remains unexposed after only three outings over timber.
Prediction : 1st No Rematch 2nd Sandy Boy 3rd Evas Oskar

LEN BRENNAN shaped with plenty of encouragement on his return to action in a novice hurdle at Southwell four weeks ago and with that outing under his belt, he could have more to offer on his return to fences. Another Emotion was last seen when disappointing over timber at Ascot in February but he could leave that effort well behind him on his chasing bow, while Shamilan has twice placed over the smaller obstacles and appears capable of being in the mix.
Prediction : 1st Len Brennan 2nd Another Emotion 3rd Shamilan

Sevarano ran well on a number of occasions over hurdles last season but considering the promise of his bumper efforts, it was disappointing that Oliver Sherwood's gelding was unable to get his head in front. The step up in trip might unlock the improvement required to get off the mark, but a chance is taken with FADO DES BROSSES. A 15-length winner of his sole point-to-point outing at Belharbour in February, he cost 200,000 pounds at the Cheltenham sale later that month and represents a stable who can get one ready for their first outing of the campaign. Eason boasts a course victory in a bumper but is likely to benefit from the outing, with several from his yard shaping in that manner, while others to note include Tippingituptonancy, a half-sister to Grade 2 winner Mr Whipped, and Butterwick Brook.
Prediction : 1st Fado Des Brosses 2nd Sevarano 3rd Tippingituptonancy

SHADOW'S GIRL won this contest 12 months ago off a 1lb higher mark and she has the services of Richard Johnson for the first time since that success. Peltwell could take a step forward for the switch to handicap company having shown some promise when third at Ffos Las in May, while At First Light and Timassini also have some form which gives them bits and pieces of chances.
Prediction : 1st Shadows Girl 2nd Peltwell 3rd At First Light

Copperhead ended his 2018/19 campaign with successive hurdle wins at Exeter and Sandown and may well continue his progression now upped in distance on his chasing bow. Truckers Lodge has the benefit of having had a couple of runs over fences and could take a step forward from his comeback fourth, but preference instead is for FINAWN BAWN. Third in a Grade 2 at Warwick over hurdles, he followed that up with a game success at Huntingdon and is likely to jump better over obstacles that warrant greater respect.
Prediction : 1st Finawn Bawn 2nd Truckers Lodge 3rd Copperhead

GUARDIA TOP never looked like being caught when making all at Perth last month and Nigel Hawke's charge could double her career tally in this contest. The three-year-old evidently enjoys these conditions and potentially looks a fair bit better than this mark of 97. Akkapenko is progressive and merits respect chasing a three-timer, while Flanagans Field, second at Newton Abbot over the summer when last seen, is interesting given that he is a past course scorer.
Prediction : 1st Guardia Top 2nd Akkapenko 3rd Flanagans Field

LINELEE KING arrives with a lofty reputation after costing connections 160,000 pounds at the sales in March and he could make a winning debut under Rules for Olly Murphy. Related to plenty of nice types in France, the four-year-old will improve when faced with obstacles but should have enough about him to go close here. Frisco Bay is expected to prove best of Jonjo O'Neill's duo, while My Friendly Cousin makes some appeal given that his dam was a winner in this sphere.
Prediction : 1st Linelee King 2nd Frisco Bay 3rd My Friendly Cousin
