DAYLIGHT KATIE brings top bumper form to the table, placing in Graded contests at Aintree and Punchestown, and made a pleasing start to her hurdling career at Fairyhouse last month, scoring by 26 lengths. She is worth her place at this level and should do the business. Jeremys Flame can take a step forward from her fourth in Listed company at Gowran last time, while Mystery Stowaway could have more to offer after her second at Punchestown.

Fitness isn't too much of a concern with Triplicate, who won first time out last year, and he is likely to run a big race, but conceding 3lb to a horse of COEUR SUBLIME's ability is a big enough ask. The four-year-old has always been held in high regard and ended last season with solid placed efforts at both Cheltenham and Fairyhouse. He seemingly goes well fresh, and is one from one here, so looks the one to beat. Punchestown scorer Coko Beach also merits respect.

BALGOWLAH got off the mark on his most recent outing at Downpatrick when staying on well and the return to 3m is unlikely to prove an issue for Colin McBratney's gelding. Castle Canny placed twice in maiden hurdles in the summer and warrants respect up in distance on her handicap bow, while others to note include Se Mo Laoch, who is well handicapped on his chase form, and Classic Concorde.

DORTMUND PARK only raced three times last campaign and didn't put his best foot forward in highly competitive Graded events, but he did win the Grade 1 Champion Novice Hurdle at Punchestown 18 months ago and has always shaped like a chaser in the making. Samcro was rated 160 over hurdles and will be a worthy favourite, though he did flop last season. Trappist Monk, a maiden hurdle winner in April, adds further depth to an intriguing contest.

GLOBAL JACKPOT was the one to take from the race when third at Sligo in September and the Gordon Elliott-trained six-year-old can claim a first win over fences. He handles these conditions fine and might have more scope than Jack Dillinger, who is two years his senior. Ar Eagla Na Heagla didn't quite get home when third at Downpatrick three weeks ago but should face no such issues this time now dropped in trip.

Gordon Elliott has won two of the last four runnings of this contest so his Pencilfulloflead warrants plenty of respect on debut, while Hollow Sound and Legacy Thor both won impressively last time and are worthy of consideration. The vote, however, goes to Noel Meade's POWERFUL TED. He seemingly wasn't fancied for his debut at Galway, sent off at 14-1, but fairly bolted up and has since been purchased by leading owner Patricia Hunt. There should be lots more to come from him.
