Shintori signed off his last campaign with a Fontwell success, though the form may not be that strong. While there should be more to come from him this season, a 7lb rise looks harsh. BROTHER BENNETT also paid his way during the spring but he has the benefit of a recent run under his belt and is fancied to take the necessary step forward from that Stratford third. Bredon Hill Lad seems to save his best for Fontwell but isn't out of it if ready to roll.

SIR EGBERT has been plying his trade over fences, including when third on his recent Wetherby comeback, but he was successful when last seen over the smaller obstacles yet is still able to compete off 5lb lower than his chase rating. West Drive struggled at the start of the year but remains fairly treated at this discipline if he can get his act together.

He has claims again off 2lb higher, while O'Rahilly came from out of the clouds to take fourth on his first foray outside of maiden company at this venue and is a player if given a more positive ride. There is more to come from High Up In The Air now he goes handicapping, but KENNY GEORGE also enters this sphere for the first time and could be the best treated compared to his Flat rating.
