Carnwennan and Dubawi Fifty like it here, but a chance can be taken on French raider FUNNY KID. He didn't beat anything home in Group 1 company at Longchamp last time, but previously looked progressive and has history in the UK after winning the Good Friday Marathon race at Lingfield in 2018.

FINESPUN has shown potential in two career starts, including when third on Tapeta at Wolverhampton four weeks ago, and should appreciate this big step up in distance. The three-year-old receives weight all-round, and is preferred ahead of Harbour Front, who outran odds of 50/1 to finish third at Chelmsford when last seen, and Ice Pyramid, who showed promise on stable debut for Phil Kirby 346 days ago but hasn't been seen on the track since.

MAJESTIC STONE has been running well in defeat of late and that includes his second-placed finish over C&D two starts ago, so it would be no surprise to see the five-year-old play a leading role this afternoon. Das Kapital made the frame when last seen at Yarmouth and could do so once again today, while Klipperty Klopp and Lady Shanawell are others to note.

Aljari missed out on a hat-trick on his handicap debut at Chelmsford but a 2lb lower mark could see him be competitive, while Above The Rest should find this easier than the Listed contest he was last seen in. Caballero won a competitive Newmarket event on his latest outing in October last year and the betting market could be the best guide to his chances now returning.

ROCKLEY POINT enjoyed the drop back to this trip when scoring over course and distance on Monday. The six-year-old has been in good form this autumn and could build on that deserved victory under a 5lb penalty. Mutabaahy is another respected player under a penalty following his win at Wolverhampton on Tuesday, while Young Tiger, a winner over track and trip in October, arrives on the back of further success at Southwell. Landing Light and Be Proud can't be ignored either.
