Instant Return has the best jumps form on offer and his experience will stand him in good stead but he comes up against some interesting Flat recruits, not least KING PELLINOR. The son of Camelot was costly to follow for Aidan O'Brien and never really fulfilled his potential at Ballydoyle, but he has been gelded since moving to Joseph O'Brien, who won this 12 months ago with Band Of Outlaws. His stablemate Ozone has struck at Dundalk since a decent Gowran fourth, from which he is closely matched with Bajan Excell.
Prediction : 1st King Pellinor 2nd Instant Return 3rd Ozone

After putting on a sparkling show in a bumper at Down Royal's big November meeting, EASYWORK made a successful transition to this sphere by claiming the scalp of Mt Leinster at Gowran Park. He appears another exciting prospect for Gordon Elliott and can continue on his upward curve. Unexcepted made a triumphant return from over two years on the sidelines on his debut for Willie Mullins and could be anything. Discorama is a class act, but staying chases are his forte and this may all happen a bit too quick for him.
Prediction : 1st Easywork 2nd Unexcepted 3rd Discorama

Egality Mans is a half-brother to Willie Mullins' good hurdler Coquin Mans and showed plenty of the family talent on his first appearance for the champion trainer when runner-up at Sligo back in the spring. That form looks nothing special, however, whereas ASSEMBLE wasn't all that far behind Envoi Allen in a bumper just over a year ago, and returned from some time off with a determined win in a Fairyhouse bumper. Port Stanley was a disappointing favourite on that occasion, with Axiomatic just behind him, but could close the gap.
Prediction : 1st Assemble 2nd Egality Mans 3rd Port Stanley

MINX TIARA ran a solid race when second at Thurles last month and she deserves to land one of these sooner rather than later. The four-year-old clearly goes well on deep winter ground, and the booking of talented 7lb claimer Oakley Brown catches the eye. Pivotal Flame has been performing bravely in defeat just lately, while Bay Ambition was travelling with intent before taking a tumble at Navan 46 days ago and could bounce back.
Prediction : 1st Minx Tiara 2nd Pivotal Flame 3rd Bay Ambition

SAMCRO hadn't been asked for his full effort when coasting alongside Fakir D'Oudairies at Fairyhouse earlier this month, but he exited the contest at the second-last fence and can earn redemption here for Gordon Elliott. Faugheen was successful on his chasing debut at Punchestown last month but it is hard to know how much improvement is left in him at the age of 11, while, of the modest remainder, Castlebrook could be the one to claim third spot.
Prediction : 1st Samcro 2nd Faugheen 3rd Castlebrook

15:15 Limerick

YOUNG DEV bolted up by 15 lengths over hurdles late last month and he makes plenty of appeal this afternoon with his chase mark now 12lb lower than his current hurdles rating. Kavanaghs Corner hit the crossbar in a similar event to this at Clonmel earlier in the month and he could prove to be the main threat to the selection, ahead of Solar Heat.
Prediction : 1st Young Dev 2nd Kavanaghs Corner 3rd Solar Heat

DREAMINGANDHOPING outran odds of 66/1 to finish second on her debut at Navan last month and, with that experience now under her belt, the daughter of Shirocco can be expected to go one better this afternoon. Tucanae and Family Business are others who should put their previous race experience to good use, while Sacred Spring is the pick of the newcomers.
Prediction : 1st Dreamingandhoping 2nd Tucanae 3rd Family Business
