Al Dancer has taken to chasing well in two starts at Cheltenham and is likely to be in the mix, along with Global Citizen, who is expected to prove a lot better than his first attempt over fences at Carlisle having run when the yard were out of form.

Culture De Sivola got the better of Molly Childers at the finish to land this 12 months ago and was sent off favourite for a Listed hurdle here most recently. She is likely to be on the premises, but a stiff-looking rating makes her vulnerable to the lightly-raced COILLTE EILE, who had the useful Oscar Rose held in fourth when landing a competitive Ascot handicap last time. Jonjo O'Neill Jr takes the reins aboard David Pipe's comfortable Plumpton winner Miss Tynte, while Danse Idol is entitled to come on plenty for her Wincanton reappearance.

Duc Des Genievres has failed to go on since landing the Arkle in March but a tongue-tie could inspire a bounce back to form, while this may be a shrewd piece of placing by Capeland's handler Paul Nicholls, with the Ascot winner capable of collecting some decent prize money.

Sametegal remains on a fair mark of 141 based on his old form and is interesting.

Nicky Henderson won this in 2017 with a similar type in the shape of Kayf Grace and this five-year-old can follow suit. Stablemate French Crusader finished second in the same Newbury race and should give another good account, while the unexposed Chance A Tune also merits consideration.
