Heavy ground wasn't an issue on that occasion and shouldn't be a problem here, with Tom George's five-year-old presented with a nice opportunity to get off the mark. Bendy Bow was the outsider of four when second over course and distance and is likely to be much more on the radar this time. Jockey bookings would suggest Port Of Mars is the pick of Olly Murphy's pair.

TRINCOMALEE very much caught the eye when third in a red-hot maiden hurdle at Newbury during the Ladbrokes Trophy meeting and he won't mind the conditions as he attempts to open his account over timber. Hazzaar reappears following a year off the track and was last seen in a Listed bumper. He clearly holds ability and now represents a team in form, while Durouyn was clear best of the rest when second to a runaway winner at Uttoxeter and could make the frame.

Supreme Novices' Hurdle third ITCHY FEET should be much too good for his rivals if taking to the challenge that the switch to fences presents, and it could be a case of 'how far' for Olly Murphy's five-year-old. Forecast was useful over hurdles and is likely to throw down the biggest challenge to the selection following a positive first chasing outing at Catterick. Leskinfere and dual point-to-point winner Coole Lion can have their own battle for third.

Eureu Du Boulay won a Fontainebleau hurdle in fine style and is still 1lb lower than when second of three over the minimum trip here in February. He looks capable of mounting another bold bid, though PRAIRIE TOWN could be worth a chance. Tony Carroll's gelding got within a length of success at Kempton last month and was then not disgraced at Sandown. Glance Back positively bolted up at Southwell and has to be respected, but an 8lb rise in this stronger company will make life tougher for him.

BALLYELLIS has been in fantastic form, winning four and finishing second three times in seven starts since August. Nigel Twiston-Davies' charge showed up well in a competitive Hereford event last time and can get straight back to winning ways, despite a 3lb higher mark. Masters Apprentice won well on his handicap debut over timber and is interesting off 8lb higher, while Little Rory Mac has been thumped with an 11lb hike for his easy triumph at Market Rasen. Top-weight Ball D'Arc's rating is heading in the opposite direction but he could still be better than he showed most recently.

Robin Des Mana was a good winner at Ffos Las and could go well again off a 6lb higher mark, while Delface has been raised 5lb for finishing second at Hereford, which seems a little harsh. Finnegan's Garden ploughed through the mud to score at Lingfield and is well worth a second glance, but preference is for LITTLE LIGHT. The five-year-old has hardly set the world alight in two starts since joining Lucy Wadham, but she's starting to look nicely handicapped on the pick of her form when with Joseph O'Brien.
