Scorched Earth landed a gamble on stable debut for Dan Skelton at Catterick five weeks ago and merits respect, while 70,000-pounds purchase Premiumaccess could prove best of the remainder on Rules debut for Colin Tizzard.

DEFI SACRE followed up his Musselburgh success with a nice performance at this venue 10 days ago and could still have a bit in hand despite a 5lb rise. Richard Hobson's charge clearly likes to get his toe in, and is fancied to strike again proving this doesn't come too soon. Mine's A Pint recovered from a bad mistake at the first to finish second at Wincanton when last seen in April, while Go Long has dropped to a tempting mark and could soon bounce back to form.

ONE FOR ROSIE showed a fair amount of promise in his novice campaign having travelled powerfully through the EBF Final at Sandown before being narrowly denied by Third Wind, who won a decent Pertemps Qualifier at Wincanton on Boxing Day. The son of Getaway followed that performance up with a good third in Grade 1 company at Aintree and his mark of 145 appears to be workable with the potential for further improvement to come. Point Of Principle has a good record fresh having placed in the Silver Trophy at Chepstow on his return last season and he warrants plenty of respect along with the Nicky Henderson pair, Colonial Dreams and Soul Emotion, who both remain unexposed.

COBOLOBO ploughed through the Haydock mud to win impressively earlier this month and, although a 7lb rise will obviously make life a lot tougher, he might be able to complete the double. Copperhead has been raised 9lb for his four-length Wincanton success but should remain competitive, while Strong Pursuit, who won a beginners' chase at this venue in November 2017, is worth a market check on his seasonal return.

Last season's Champion Bumper third THYME HILL hasn't put a foot wrong since switching to hurdles, winning Grade 2 races at both Chepstow and Cheltenham, and this this likeable, tough gelding will prove difficult to beat. Morning Vicar only found one too good on his seasonal reappearance in a handicap hurdle at Kempton and he could well improve for this switch to fences, while Kateson and Diable De Sivola are other names to note.
