BRIGHT SIDE OFLIFE may have had more in front of her than behind here earlier in the month but she wasn't beaten all that far and could strike with that experience under her belt. Tara Mill is an obvious danger as he ran well in handicap company in Ireland, but his debut for Sam England left a lot to be desired. Milvale and Rintulla were both winners in bumpers but have yet to show the same level over timber.
Prediction : 1st Bright Side Oflife 2nd Tara Mill 3rd Milvale

RUBYTWO followed up a game second at Wetherby with a similar finish over the minimum trip here last time. Nicky Richards' charge was a little outpaced in the closing stages so could benefit from this slight step up in trip. Dieu Benisse is another who appears likely to be better over this trip after looking one-paced when fourth over 2m here last time, while Baby Ticker drops in distance for this after staying on well to win over 2m4f at Hexham last time.
Prediction : 1st Rubytwo 2nd Dieu Benisse 3rd Baby Ticker

GOLDENCARD's bid for a hat-trick at Sedgefield last time ended in a narrow defeat, but he is taken to return to winning ways in this. Keith Dalgleish's charge is 14lb higher than when successful here in October but he could be tough to stop. Vengeur De Guye won effortlessly off 5lb lower here in October but failed to follow that up in a hot Newbury race last time, while recent course fifth Clan Legend and the reappearing Commis D'Office could be capable if at their best.
Prediction : 1st Goldencard 2nd Vengeur De Guye 3rd Commis DOffice

Mario De Pail won a Ffos Las bumper in good style and is interesting now tackling hurdles, while Trooper Turnbull showed up well in a couple of Newcastle bumpers and is another tempting recruit to this discipline. Hurdling experience could give DUBAI DAYS the edge, though, as Nick Alexander's gelding has shown real promise in bumpers and ran respectably on his hurdling bow at Sedgefield. That run could bring him on.
Prediction : 1st Dubai Days 2nd Mario De Pail 3rd Trooper Turnbull

CUBAN PETE struck on his seasonal reappearance over 2m5f at Hereford last month and was far from disgraced when runner-up over a longer trip at Lingfield last time. The return to a shorter distance known to suit is a positive for Venetia Williams' charge, who shades the vote over the consistent Duc De Grissay and Iwilldoit, the latter of whom is entitled to come on for his reappearance outing at Newbury.
Prediction : 1st Cuban Pete 2nd Duc De Grissay 3rd Iwilldoit

THE CROONER kept on gamely to win over 2m at Leicester earlier in the month and could appreciate the step up to this longer trip. Man Of Plenty could feasibly step up on his latest effort in a class 2 handicap hurdle at Cheltenham now eased into 0-125 company, while there may be a big run on the cards from Juge Et Parti now he's sporting first-time cheekpieces.
Prediction : 1st The Crooner 2nd Man Of Plenty 3rd Juge Et Parti

TOTAL ASSETS has been holding her form well this term and is taken to build on her Scottish Borders National third here last time out now cutting back to this shorter trip. The selection has winning C&D form in the book and struck for this rider at Hexham last season. The main danger may be Calivigny, who arrives on a hat-trick and is another proven under these conditions. Misfits has been competitive off this mark in the past and could also figure.
Prediction : 1st Total Assets 2nd Calivigny 3rd Misfits
