The Dragon Pulse gelding brings a mark of 79 to the table and gets weight from the 42-rated Final Legacy, who is well up against it on these terms. Rocketeer may emerge as the main danger to the selection on his debut for a shrewd stable. A son of Equiano, he is bred for sprinting and could be there to ponce if the selection falters.

Moonraker is interesting under a 4lb penalty for his success over C&D on Sunday, but this might come soon enough for him and preference is for HART STOPPER. Second in a good race at Kempton in November, the six-year-old races on Fibresand for the first time since April 2017 and should have sharpened up plenty for his recent exertions. Shamshon drops in class and may prove best of the remainder despite his advancing years.

This drop back in trip might suit Karl Burke's filly, who shades the vote ahead of Restive, who was outpaced over an inadequate trip at Wolverhampton last time, and Crimson King, who sports first-time blinkers and has been knocking on the door in recent outings.
