Osprey Call also won around here on debut and Jack Tudor's valuable claim negates his penalty, while point-to-point scorer River Tyne and Nicky Henderson's newcomer Surf Walk are just a couple more with claims in what is probably a decent bumper.

This effectively looks a match between Springfield Fox, who only found subsequent winner Boss Man Fred too good at Southwell last time, and ORRISDALE. The latter has been more convincing in his two hurdle starts, building on his 2m4f Uttoxeter success when second over 2m6f at Newcastle, and this greater test of stamina could potentially unlock another gear. Illegal Model, who has had just the one start in a point-to-point race, might prove best of the remainder.

SEEANYTHINGYOULIKE was an impressive 21-length winner over this trip at Warwick last week and a 7lb penalty shouldn't be enough to anchor him if arriving in the same mood. Clondaw Robin won gamely over hurdles at Fontwell when last sighted and can hopefully give a good account on his return to chasing duty, while Desque De L'Isle might leave his hurdling form well behind now faced with a fence.

EASTER GOLD showed plenty of promise on her first outing following wind surgery here in November and could build on that seasonal reappearance now back down in trip to 2m. The form of Destinee Royale's third here in February looks strong and she could have plenty more to offer. Sei Bella picked up a silver medal in a Plumpton bumper last month and is another to consider on her hurdling debut.

JUST YOUR TYPE finished second to a well-handicapped rival in the Scottish Borders National at Kelso last month and the eight-year-old looks the answer now returned to novice company. This isn't a formality, with the useful Jammin Masters returning from 297 days off the track with good form to his name, and Sam Brown another reappearing from a long absence who could prove dangerous if fully tuned up.

POTTERS HEDGER was fancied to run well in a much stronger contest when disappointing at Newbury 39 days ago but the drop in class, combined with the application of blinkers for the first time, can see Lucy Wadham's gelding be more competitive. One More Fleurie shaped on his most recent start at Haydock as though a stiffer test of stamina would see him to best effect, while Chloe's Court arrives in good heart and cannot be discounted.

BENNYS GIRL ran out a 15-length winner of her latest start at Fakenham on New Year's Day and, providing she is over those exertions, the 12-year-old could prove too strong for her rivals in a contest lacking much depth. The Brothers finished second at Hereford when last seen and has the credentials to go close with the handicapper dropping him 1lb for that effort. Timcoda, who sports blinkers for the first time, and Glorious Boru are others worth noting.
