COLD HARBOUR was touched off by a head off this mark over C&D nine days ago and may be able to gain compensation for that narrow defeat now sporting first-time cheekpieces. Sea Sculpture is unexposed on his second handicap start and could improve for this first foray beyond 1m2f. There was lots to like about Crimson King's 1m3f course second on New Year's Day and he also merits inclusion on the shortlist.
Prediction : 1st Cold Harbour 2nd Sea Sculpture 3rd Crimson King

MOONRAKER needs to step up on his last run here on New Year's Day if he's to get back on the winning trail, though that was a 0-90 heat and he makes more appeal on his comfortable victory in late December - a performance for which he is penalised. Astro Jakk produced some likeable novice efforts here in the spring, though he has plenty to find with Samovar on last month's course clash and now sports a first-time visor. C&D winner Warrior's Valley, fourth here on Sunday, is on a workable mark and could also take a hand.
Prediction : 1st Moonraker 2nd Samovar 3rd Warriors Valley

MOSAKHAR took to Fibresand like a duck to water when romping home by four lengths in a 1m maiden in November and appears feasibly weighted for his first handicap assignment. Smile A Mile could step up on his last run at Wolverhampton, now eased in grade, if acting on this surface, while there may be better to come from Caballero, who was returning from a long time off the track when a creditable sixth in a higher grade at Newcastle.
Prediction : 1st Mosakhar 2nd Caballero 3rd Smile A Mile

FANCY FOOTINGS lost his position at Wolverhampton and is worth another chance now returned to Fibresand and reunited with Richard Kingscote, who steered him to victory over C&D in November. Directory has been raised 4lb for scoring over track and trip and is considered the main danger. The pick of the remainder may be Universal Effect, who has been cut some slack by the assessor and drops in grade.
Prediction : 1st Fancy Footings 2nd Directory 3rd Universal Effect

ATWAAR remains in good form after her recent C&D second and could return to winning ways for trainer Charles Smith. Successful here in November before doubling up at Chelmsford, she looks sure to be held up once more before delivering a late challenge under 5lb claimer Faye McManoman. Decision Maker has dropped to a tempting mark and will appreciate the step up from 5f. Le Manege Enchante outran his odds when fifth at Newcastle and could grab a place.
Prediction : 1st Atwaar 2nd Decision Maker 3rd Le Manege Enchante

SEA OF COOL wasn't beaten far when crossing the line in second, before being subsequently disqualified, over course and distance in November and John Ryan's three-year-old could pick up some compensation if in the same form. Face Like Thunder has been running with credit in defeat over the track and trip of late and has to be considered, with Sooqaan another to keep an eye on.
Prediction : 1st Sea of Cool 2nd Face Like Thunder 3rd Sooqaan

GEORGE THOMAS won nicely under tonight's pilot on his first outing for Robert Eddery at Lingfield prior to a respectable effort against a well-treated rival over track and trip on Sunday. The four-year-old may have more left to offer and gets the nod. Global Melody, fourth here on Sunday, goes well at this venue and appeals as the principal danger. Under Curfew is worthy of a market check at least ahead of his first appearance since August.
Prediction : 1st George Thomas 2nd Global Melody 3rd Under Curfew
