Mister Dependable commands respect on these terms but has a 485-day break to overcome. The step back up in trip could benefit Treble Clef, who kept on into third over 6f at Kempton last time, likewise Meghan Sparkle, who has raced over 6f to date but is a half-sister to a 7f winner.

LITTLE MISS LILLY has been knocking on the door over 6f at Lingfield of late and could appreciate the step up to 7f off a mark that remains workable. French Twist was only beaten a neck off this rating over 1m at Southwell and suffered a defeat by the same distance when seen over the course and distance last month. She looks sure to be thereabouts, with Fortissimo and track-and-trip winner Ishebayorgrey also respected.

ZAPPER CASS has impressed when landing back-to-back Southwell victories by four and six lengths and there is every chance Mick Appleby's in-form seven-year-old lands the hat-trick, with George Rooke's 7lb allowance nullifying the majority of the 10lb hike he received for his most recent triumph. The consistent Pink Flamingo has been freshened up and is respected, with C&D winner Boom The Groom also considered following his fine Lingfield second to start the year.

BLACKCURRENT has been running well in defeat of late and that includes a third-placed finish over C&D earlier in the month. A reproduction of that effort would give the four-year-old a big chance of winning this moderate contest. Murqaab is likely to pose the biggest threat based upon his effort at this track recently. HENRY CROFT was only beaten a neck when finishing second over C&D in November and that followed a 413-day break. With that run under his belt, the seven-year-old could be very hard to beat.
