RAJMAN could never really get competitive at Lingfield just after Christmas, but he showed his appreciation for these conditions when successful over track and trip the time before, and he can recapture that sparkle.

His 5lb penalty takes him to a new career-high figure but he is worth sticking with while in such fine fettle. Ginger Fox found only one too strong when attempting to supplement a C&D win over Wolverhampton's 7f, and better is expected back here. Wiley Post, Fighting Temeraire and Alfie Solomons also have to enter the equation.

FLEETING PRINCE was highly tried after breaking through at the second attempt during the summer, coming up short in the Richmond Stakes before being one of many left trailing in Mums Tipple's wake at York. Providing he takes to the surface, he should prove too good for Get Boosting, who has plenty of all-weather experience. Amarillo Star can beat Kondratiev Wave to third spot.

Lady Of Aran was a sound second at Lingfield to gain some sort of revenge on her previous C&D conqueror Kwela. Splitting them in third at the Surrey venue was VISIONARA, who has since improved to chase home a progressive Mark Johnston inmate at Chelmsford. Simon Crisford's filly is going the right way and she gets a tentative nod. Bungee Jump won at Chepstow in September and is just as effective on an artificial surface so is a player if ready to roll on her return.

City Tour appears to like it here and accounted for MY BOY SEPOY over C&D last month. That was the second time in as many races that the runner-up has hit the crossbar, proving that he is currently at the top of his game, and he can turn the form around on 3lb better terms. Ilhabela Fact took a step back in the right direction when third here last time and rounds out the shortlist.

DOUBLE LEGEND was returning from a break of nearly six months when fifth over C&D recently. He was only beaten a few lengths and granted natural improvement from that comeback, he can take this. Ember's Glow was a fair fourth in a classified event on the same card and should make his presence felt. Something must have been amiss with Muraaqeb at Wolverhampton and he can't be written off on the back of it.

ACCESSOR banished a Lingfield no-show to the memory when justifying favouritism at Newcastle on Friday. He probably didn't have too much up his sleeve but he can still defy his penalty. If this comes too soon, Picture Poet might be the one to capitalise because he went under by the narrowest of margins over track and trip recently. Mistress Nellie should also have a say in the outcome and she was actually ahead of Accessor in that aforementioned Lingfield contest.
