Over To Sam is having only his second start following wind surgery and is feared most, though Virginia Chick is no forlorn hope either now eased in grade after contesting the Welsh Grand National.

Rarest Diamond ran her best race yet when third over the extended 2m2f at Exeter last time and could feasibly show up well if running to a similar level of form over this shorter trip. Of more interest, however, is WHITE CHOCOLATE, who is expected to step up on her hurdles debut third here last time and take closer order. Marilyn Monroe has won between the flags and in a bumper and likely has better to offer over obstacles too.

Course regular TZAR DE L'ELFE built on a useful reappearance when battling to victory over course and distance last time, and just a 3lb rise gives him a great chance. Shanahan's Turn is yet to win over this far, but has dropped to a dangerous mark and has run some respectable races so far this winter. Loose Chips placed off this rating at Warwick on New Year's Eve, with track-and-trip winner Uhlan Bute and Gary Moore's Antony others to keep onside.

Only half a length separated Ede'iffs Elton and Zoltan Varga when they finished second and third respectively last time and the pair are likely to be right in the mix once again off the same ratings. However, a chance is taken on LITTLE BOY BORU, who is lurking on a dangerous mark. The course-and-distance winner boasts a fine record here and the 12-year-old often thrives when there is cut in the ground.
