DUSKY HERCULES appreciated a stiffer test of stamina when successful at Exeter last month and should still be improving. The six-year-old has only raced seven times under Rules and has enough scope to take this against largely more exposed rivals. Kestrel Valley handled deep ground well in victory at Lingfield on her most recent outing and might still be ahead of the assessor despite a 13lb hike, while Alf 'n' Dor could prove best of the remainder.
