Iron Heart steps up in trip following an encouraging effort over 7f here last time and could ask most questions, while it would be no surprise to see debutants A Knight's Tale and Quantum Dawn thereabouts at the finish either.

Thunderoad arrives in good form and is another to note in first-time blinkers.

SIX STRINGS caught the attention of the stewards when finishing second over 7f in an apprentice handicap here eight days ago but is expected to go one better, off the same mark, now cutting back in trip. This looks far from a penalty kick, however, as Sandridge Lad bolted up over C&D last time and should put up plenty of resistance under a penalty. The return to 6f could suit Al Suil Eile, who won over track and trip on his penultimate outing before finishing behind the selection latest.

PADLEYOUROWNCANOE was a rare winner on the Flat for Colin Tizzard at Lingfield last time and could double up for the Dorset-based handler. A 3m scorer over fences in October, he promises to stay this extended 2m2f trip well and a forceful ride from Rob Hornby could see him defy a 4lb rise. Tynecastle Park seldom runs a bad race here and will likely prove the main threat, just ahead of last-start course third Pumblechook.
