VILLAGE MYSTIC was third behind subsequent Grade 1 winner Asterion Forlonge in a maiden hurdle over C&D last month and built on that effort with a solid 2m4f second at Navan most recently. Entoucas has been knocking hard on the door and should go close if running to his mark, while Fakiera has shown ability in two bumper starts and is interesting on his hurdles bow.
